Late to the bus per Dan. Him and a couple other players.

Fayne, Milik, and Key will be gone while we wait for this development process to play out. Freshmen and newcomers need to contribute on NCAA teams.V Boy said:ISU FAN 1 said:Unless Copeland is a stud, we’re in trouble next year at guard. And may be anyway. This roster is landlocked with some really problematic guards.
It is amazing.
Muller knew what was needed 2 years ago. And this is the output.
There is not one guard on ISU’s team who can:
1) stay in front of his man
2) create his own shot
How does this happen?

I think the issue was they stopped at the Beer House on the way to the game and ate too much. Entire team looked to be running underwater
And the to top it off, a bunch of strangers got on the bus. David NJ, Marshawn Evans, William Tensley, Phil Fine.

Elijah Clarance had no pre-season practices or physical training. He has played a total of 83 minutes of D1 basketball. If I had to choose between Elijah Clarance after seeing him play only 83 minutes, and what on I saw from Nic Moore through November of his freshman year, I would take Elijah Clarance.
As for William Tinsley, I think next season he is going to be a valuable player coming off the bench. Sometimes it takes JUCO’s until February, or even into their senior year before their game starts clicking. I have confidence in him. I like his hustle, and I think his offense is going to come around.
Taylor Bruninga may not become an All-Valley player, but he is going to be good enough to help this team into The NCAA Tournament before he leaves.
Isaac Gassman is a walk-on, and I think he is very good attribute to this team only being a walk-on.
I am hoping that EC, WT, & TB are all back on scholarship’s as Redbirds for the remainder of their college career. And I hope Isaac Gassman remains here as a walk-on for the rest of his college career.
For ONE season. We've already recruited a replacement to fill that spot. Move along. Until we have another unfilled departure.V Boy said:RedbirdSoxFan said:ISU FAN 1 said:A lot of underachieving going on. Looked good on video and paper. I’m frankly surprised by Clarance and Tinsley. Believe Gassman is now on scholarship.
Beyond the loss of valuable playing time for ISU's leading playmaker on a team that is desperate for playmakers.....once again a game starts or is played with the entire ISU team's focus being distracted by the Muller/MY circus. I am absolutely for discipline and enforcing rules but this game time b.s. needs to end. If the MY infractions are minor as some suggest why not handle the punishment at practice? At this point looks like ISU at real risk of heading into post season play not knowing if MY will be fully available for any particular game.PubIIDreaming said:Any word yet on why MY didn't start the game?

Well, we got pounded, but I'm okay with it, the day after. Dan Muller enforcing rules in a more or less meaningless game (in the grand scheme of things) with PT restrictions or anything else he wants to do is fine with me.
Program culture/team rules > not enforcing rules in the name of winning. Every time. Be it Quincy, Indy St in January or Duke in April. Every time.

This is the dumbest thing I've read on RBF.net in a long time. The reality is that in order to win in the valley, and consistently, you need to have good players, playing together and playing smart. You need discipline. You don't win by bending your own rules.
Muller-Yarborough's relationship is not unlike Pitino's-Russ Smith back in 2011-12. Smith was always in Pitino's doghouse, got pulled often, didn't start a few games....etc. That said, by the end of the year, he started to get it and led the Cardinals to a National Title.
