I think WT can and will play a lot better. He just looks like a D1 player when he's out there. If there's one player that has a lot of untapped potential it's him. The fact that he usually shoots well in practice means it just a mental thing. His form looks good to me when he shoots, it just doesn't go in enough right now. But he does a lot of other things to help the team.

But right now if we are at the end of a game and need somebody to hit an open 3, I'll pick Gassman. He looks pretty poised for playing in his first year.

A lot of underachieving going on. Looked good on video and paper. I’m frankly surprised by Clarance and Tinsley. I’m guessing Dan is too. Screw patience. Fayne, Milik, and Key will be gone while we wait for this development process to play out. Freshmen and newcomers need to contribute on NCAA teams.

Elijah Clarance had no pre-season practices or physical training. He has played a total of 83 minutes of D1 basketball. If I had to choose between Elijah Clarance after seeing him play only 83 minutes, and what on I saw from Nic Moore through November of his freshman year, I would take Elijah Clarance.

As for William Tinsley, I think next season he is going to be a valuable player coming off the bench. Sometimes it takes JUCO’s until February, or even into their senior year before their game starts clicking. I have confidence in him. I like his hustle, and I think his offense is going to come around.

Taylor Bruninga may not become an All-Valley player, but he is going to be good enough to help this team into The NCAA Tournament before he leaves.

Isaac Gassman is a walk-on, and I think he is very good attribute to this team only being a walk-on.

I am hoping that EC, WT, & TB are all back on scholarship’s as Redbirds for the remainder of their college career. And I hope Isaac Gassman remains here as a walk-on for the rest of his college career.

JMO, but I liked what I saw in Nic Moore over what I’m seeing from Clarance at this point in their freshmen years. If Clarance ever gets to the level of Nic’s freshmen year, I’ll be happy with that.

it is not uncommon for Jucos to come in and underwhelm in year one and stand out heavily in year 2. If we chased away them all as Juniors we would have been withheld from viewing some outstanding senior seasons

:text-+1: WT does physically and athletically look like he belongs out there and he also looks like he has upside. All that said he needs to start putting the ball in the basket at a much higher percentage.

Muller should be rotating in and out Gassman and WT for their respective offensive and defensive abilities when the game is close and time is running down.

Dont worry about all that, ISU is only 3 transfers out from leading the NCAA for non coaching transfers over the last 5 seasons. 3 players will defect to NCAA competitive programs to make the dance..so problem solved.

I am guessing since Romine didn't play in the disaster of a blowout that they are trying for a medical redshirt. If not then he should have been out there at the end just to go up and down the court a few times. Before he left the team I was told he would be starting this year because of his offense.

After hearing the news about Chris Payton today, I would not be surprised if Isaac Gassman doesn't have his pick next year between a number of scholarship openings. The way the last 20 years have gone, I would not be surprised to see Milik Yarbrough, Phil Fayne, Elijah Clarance, Christian Romine, or maybe even Taylor Bruninga gone next season.
