Fantastic W. Louisville had never lost a tournament game at home until today.
Congrats boys!

I think they were 20-3 all-time, but all three losses were to Vanderbilt. Decent company to be in!
Wins over the SEC and ACC regular season champs this year. What a year! Keep it rollin!!

I don't see Louisville losing a game in this regional. They are a dominant team. Won the ACC... I have a bad feeling they could put up 15 runs on ISU if they were to play.

I 100% accept and enjoy eating that crow. I did not anticipate Walker to pitch like that. I hope I am wrong, but still think we will see the ISU lack of pitching depth come into play. I would still place my money on L'ville to win this one. Although - they look like a team who is really in a funk right now.
ISUBU said:Birds need to win once. Either IU or Louisville will have to beat the Birds twice. Pitching depth really matters, as did help from the bench today.
If I understand it correctly, our regional is matched with Eastern Carolina's. That one is behind schedule due to weather, but the team on the winners side will be the winner of Campbell or Quinnipiac. Those two are seeded 3 and 4. If one of those two wins their regional, and we win ours, we could bid to host the Super Regional 3 game series. I don't want to jinx us, but you have to make those preparations before the outcome is known.
