BIRDS win 8 to 7. Headrick with 14 strikeouts in six innings ... stud. After a disastrous 7th where walked 4, hit a batter and gave up 5 runs, the birds score a run in the 8th to win. They could have folded after the 7th but came through. Next up winner of UIC Louisville game
