Though it is not over yet, it has been a great effort and weekend by the Birds. Holm mentioned in his interview (in the 3rd?) that playing in these games, against top competition in the country- really helps recruiting.

I don't see this (until the 8th) as Louisville beating us. We beat ourselves with the two fielding errors in the 1st (I think one was scored an error) and the base running error- our catcher getting thrown out at 2nd with 0 outs in the top of the 8th.

I scored 4 or 5 Redbird baseball jerseys at the garage sale last spring. Awesome stuff. That had to be a HUGE money maker for the department. Hopefully they do another one soon.

That's the kind of outing that gets you noticed, especially on draft day (left handed to boot). Maybe not this year, but might get you on the list to be watched more closely next year. Especially against the #7 team in the country.

Font is much better than Football and Basketball. Wish we would get rid of the Bubble font.
