You gotta love Muller.

He’s gonna do this every year on Twitter.

It’s now his thing. It’s become part of his brand.

He loses so badly on the argument but he wins so big on the PR side. The more likes, comments and shares the more he wins.

I think HCDM is right on the money. Great stuff on behalf of the MVC.

Agree with ya on the argument (you too ChicagoRedbirdFan) we need to win some Tourney games before we start running our mouth.

Seems junior high'ish to me, but...too late now.

This was a perfect, right on shot at Gregg Marshall. HCDM did not reference anything about us, he defended the Valley. Marshall pooped all over the Valley on his way out the door. Now he suffers his first round one loss to an also ran at a supposedly much worse conference to the AAC. It's is a fair comment to make about which conference better prepared the Shocks for the tourney. This guy deserves every barb coming his way.

I think this makes Dan looks petty and small. And jealous, really. No need to punch down to Triple G’s level. Rise above.

I guess switching conferences doesn't magically make things better. Valley teams advance in the Dance #MVC

Dan throwing salt.

Hard to throw salt when isu hasn't even made it to the post season. Everyone wants to talk about how classy and dan does all the "right things " all the time. This is just ignorant

I'm alright with Dan defending his conference, and have no problem with the tweet. If Gregg hadn't been taking shots at the Valley this year I'd agree with you.

After reading the ESPN article- I say good for Dan sticking up for the Valley! Have to chuckle seeing Wichita losing to a team that finished 4th in their conference (ranked lower than the Valley).
Now...back it up with punching our dance card next year and extending the MVC first round winning streak to 11.

He raises a good point. Changing the conference clearly did not help WSU this year.

I hope this is sarcasm, because it sure as hell did. They went from a 10-seed last year to a 4-seed this year. I do think their conference is overrated, but it is quite a jump up from the MVC in terms of opportunities for quality wins.
And they lost to a low seed so BIG FRIGGIN DEAL!!

Apparently Seth Davis is calling himself RedbirdNation24 - because that is what he said during the selection show - ha, ha, ha.

However, switching conferences did nothing for Wichita, in terms of winning a first round game - failed. Loyola won.

The conference has nothing to do with winning one particular game. The point is, on paper they were able to get a much easier opponent than they likely would have if they were in the valley.
And they L O S T!!!!

?????.........i would guess donor support is up, ability to recruit talent is easier, ability to schedule is enhanced, the almighty dollar from royalty/tickets/revenue sharing has likely increased, the Wichita State University name is associated with some higher academic universities and I would bet that fans/students/alumni enjoy the regular season much more.

Usually HCDM's twitter game is strong, but this was a swing and a miss. Call out Marshall for being a douche, nobody can argue that but don't put down Wichita's desire to better themselves and move their program/university forward..... especially when you represent a university notorious for refusing to do so itself.

ESPN coverage. I wouldn't have posted the tweet, but it's pretty clear that he did so to troll Marshall and Shockers fans, defend the MVC after Marshall has repeatedly put it down, and get some media attention. Mission accomplished, I guess.

More pub. This time CBS Sports. This may be one of HCDM's best efforts yet...

Go get 'em, Coach.

I guess we know where Dan stands on upgrading our conference affiliation now. He seems to think the Valley is the place to be.
