It's funny Ike was a PWO and ppl upset he leaving after he was one of our best players last year. Congrats to Malcolm I hope he tears it up and I am glad he chose isu. 27ppg is nothing to joke about.

Right. Could be that UNI type of player many of our fans want Dan to start recruiting. I’m anxious to see him play. Certainly not writing him off day 1.

Heck yeah! That’s what I’m talking about! I like beating out Western IL!

.....................It's a preferred walk-on.............

Yeah, they have been getting a lot of playing time in Mullers system! I’m not trying to be a jerk...but Muller is struggling recruiting! He needs to give up some of that nice salary for a stud asst to help recruit! Or...he will be an assistant soon!

I'm sorry, but this $#!÷ needs to stop.

Kid is coming to ISU, it's his signing day hes been waiting his entire high school career for and idiots like you are slinging mud in a thread dedicated to kids like him.

Grow the F up, or get off the board.

Freedom of speech doesnt prevent you from being an asshole.

Kid scored it in high school. I don't have any inside info, but seems that it would be a PWO situation. He won the POY award. An award recently won by recruiting whiff, Gavin Block (Lincoln). I'll take it! Thanks for sharing the article, seems like a great kid.

I don't care where you went to school, 27 ppg is impressive.

https://www.prephoops.com/2017/08/recruiting-report-malcolm-miller-2019/ From 2017 but mentions how he took a visit here and enjoyed it.

Welcome Malcolm! You will love being a Redbird!!!

It’s certainly possible, and likely probable.

It takes a special kind of stupid to find a reason to complain about signing a walk on.

I wish there was a place this YT video could be seen more, instead of buried on page 4 of a recruiting thread. Thank you for finding it and posting it ISU FAN.

Some posters have this in spades. I'm actually happy they're making themselves look as dumb as they are right now.

Makes cleaning up with the "ignore" that much easier...

Both his parents went to ISU. His mom, Jill Cole played volleyball.

Shelbyville coach Bob Herdes, who coached Miller from his sophomore year on, said, "He is as good as any kid who has ever come through this school. Now there are other great players from here. Larry Hinton and Rich Beyers were great, but he is as good as anybody that has ever played here. He made himself into what he is."

I remember his mom from when we took our kids to VBall games. She was a solid player

Just throwing these out there for grins. I’ve seen nothing that links us to any of these guys, but it does show that there are still good players available.

Juco Recruiting Top 100 still available (positions as listed by Juco Recruiting)

Point Guards

3. Cameron Mack http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/cameron-mack
19.1 ppg, 45.6% FG, 33.7% 3FG, 64.6% FT, 5.9 rpg, 7.6 apg, 2.7 TO/g, 2.4 spg

17. Javion Hamlet http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/javion-hamlet
17.8 ppg, 55.6% FG, 44,8% 3FG, 83.8% FT, 3.1 rpg, 6.6 apg, 2.6 TO/g, 1.0 spg

26. David Sloane http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/david-sloan
16.1 ppg, 50.0% FG, 37.1% 3FG, 68.6% FT, 4,5 rpg, 10.2 apg, 3.3 TO/g, 1.1 spg

36. Raquan Wilkins http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/raquan-wilkins

Combo Guards

62. Deang Deang https://redbirdfan.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1052
13.3 ppg, 49.8% FG, 37.3% 3FG, 75.6% FT, 5.4 rpg

67. Isaac Bonton http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/isaac-bonton
21.4 ppg, 43.6% FG, 36.5% 3FG, 84.3% FT, 5.5 rpg, 5.6 apg, 2.7 TO/g, 1.8 spg

74. Jaekwon Carlyle http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/jaekwon-carlyle
20.5 ppg, 38.1% FG, 29.8% 3FG, 73.6% FT, 4.6 rpg, 5.6 apg, 3,7 TO/game, 2.4 spg

78. Alfonso Plummer http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/alfonso-plummer
18.6 ppg, 48.2% FG, 43.8% 3FG, 88.8% FT (was not their PG at his juco, so am guessing he's really a shooter)

There are also a number of kids listed at multiple positions on Verbal Commits who put up pretty good numbers at their juco and are still available. And believe it or not, there are still guys who put up good numbers (based on NJCAA stats) and are not listed on any recruiting site.
