Just for reference, most of our commitments last season came between now and the second week of May. No need to panic. Especially since more transfers hit the market daily.

You are definitely happy go lucky. Recruiting in May year in and year out...for the upcoming season is a recipe for disaster. You do know that?

In days before all the transfers I agree. With today's climate, having no open scholarships this time of year is not a good thing.

Correct. The massive amounts of transfers that hit the market make the spring recruiting period more active than it has ever been.

Just watched Malcolm Miller of Shelbyville sign for the Redbirds in our High School Gym signing ceremony.

Believe he is just walking on. Not on scholarship.

Kid scored it in high school. I don't have any inside info, but seems that it would be a PWO situation. He won the POY award. An award recently won by recruiting whiff, Gavin Block (Lincoln). I'll take it! Thanks for sharing the article, seems like a great kid.

I don't care where you went to school, 27 ppg is impressive.

Yeah, they have been getting a lot of playing time in Mullers system! I’m not trying to be a jerk...but Muller is struggling recruiting! He needs to give up some of that nice salary for a stud asst to help recruit! Or...he will be an assistant soon!

Welcome Miller.

Thanks Muller.

Looks like a good Gassman replacement. If he outscored Rich Byers at Shelbyville, he has to be good.

I like gym rats.

Well you are being a jerk in the kids post about becoming a Redbird, of which he looks very happy to be. But sure, poop all over him. Go Birds.

I am ok with this for a lot of reasons sight unseen. Good size for a guard. Like someone else said 27 points a game is good no matter where you play. Looks like he already has a great stroke. Won’t have to wait to teach him how to shoot. AND I like gym rats. 🤪

PLUS there’s been a lot of chatter about singing basketball players instead of athletes that have to learn the game! Well here ya go!
