He’s talking about Houston. Illinois was never fully healthy either, but they had a good amount of T1 wins.

Unfortunately Houston doesn’t get to play a bunch of Q1 opponents like Illinois gets. How many opportunities do they get? Houston only played four P5 schools. I know a loss is a loss, but Houston lost by 1 to Alabama and by 2 to Wisconsin. Bottom line is Houston is in Sweet 16 and Illinois ain’t…Their record against potential tourney teams was very poor. That being said, they would have been a top 8 team without their injuries.

I’m with you.Houston also had nonconference power 5 games against
W Virginia 67-47
W Butler 70-52
W Rice 79-46
Even though Virginia and Butler didn't make the tournament this year, Bryant did. Houston beat them 111-44. Houston also won their conference. If Houston was truly bad against good teams, they wouldn't have a net ranking of 3 and rpi of 8, which both figure strength of schedule in the formula.
My point is the committee will find any reasons possible to give the power 5 the benefit of the doubt above non-power 5.
YesIs purdue's Stepanovic Lou's son?

EJ LiddellDel's kid didn't work out very well. Jon Wilkins was just ok. What others did we miss? Was Notre Dame receiver Derrick Mayes the ISU guard's son?
Both are to blame! Start winning!Well . . . on this board . . . if you don’t like the coach, you blame the coach . . . if you like the coach, you blame the players . . .
Yep. Kofi is not what NBA teams are looking for and not how NBA teams win.He may not be drafted until 2nd if at all.
