Seems like you can't "accept the fact he sucked" and you don't accept "reality ". "Thank you and God bless"
Your opinion is he sucked. That is not a fact. Please don’t conflate your opinions with reality.

If he was running with the 1st team and dominating like some say...he wouldn’t have been the water boy. Unless, Muller wanted to lose.
I’ve not seen him play. So I can’t tell you how much, or if, he’s improved since high school. I just find interesting that one can be so certain one knows the talent level of someone they’ve never seen play.
If information wasn’t “leaked” that indicated Romine was healthy enough to play, but wasn’t able to see a single minute on the court, then he’s either severely overrated or, as someone just said, Muller wanted to lose. I kinda doubt Muller wanted to lose.
Honestly, if there is another explanation, please enlighten us.
Until then, here we go with another “savior” that no one knows anything about that is guaranteed to take us to the promise land.

So everything you have ever posted on this message board is fact? Lmao some of the people on here just aren't in touch with reality with respects to isu basketball. Don't tell me your opinion...only facts when it comes to someone who was worse than Andy Strandmark... oh wait that's an opinion? Or is it? I'll leave it up to the "fact only guy"

So assumptions are equivalent to enlightenment? You haven't seen him play. You don't know the reasoning why Dan didn't play him. You don't even know what forced Romine to leave the team for a while. Yet you make your assumptions to come to your own conclusions.
Maybe he's really good. But I'm not saying he's good. Maybe he's really bad. But I'm not saying he's bad. I'm saying I'm not willing to make assumptions like you have, which are the stuff of conspiracy theories.

I think you’re confusing “conspiracy theory” with “fact”...
Fact - Muller mentioned Romine was healthy enough to play and it was up to him (Romine) if he wanted to see the court.
Fact- He never saw the court despite Muller saying he was able and ready to play
From these statements, by our head coach no less, I assumed that he was either not good enough. Or something else was going on. I don’t think I’m alone here.
Unlike many others, I also never saw anything (stat-wise, or from whom he was being recruited by out of HS) that made me think he’ll be the second coming of Osiris
No worries..continue to parade about on your high horse of misinterpretation

Like I said, I don't know if he's good or bad. I don't have an opinion on his abilities because I don't have all of the information about his situation, nor have I seen him play. I've never said he's our savior. I've only said that I do not understand how one can assume anything about a player's ability, or lack of, based on what one hears about a player.
In my opinion, counting stats are not good indicators of a player's overall ability, especially coming out of smaller high schools. The stats tell you nothing about the system the kid played in, the quality of the team around him, the quality of the coach, or the quality of the opponents.
So without actually seeing a kid play a few games, in my opinion, you really can't say whether a kid is good, bad, or middlin'. But we've got a lot of posters who think otherwise.
Finally an assumption is not a fact. Who's misinterpreting? Who's making assumptions based on limited objective information? Who's weaving a tale to fill gaps in knowledge?

Logic isn't your strong suit, is it? I believe you are the one touting what you've said are facts and reality. And what in the hell does Andy Strandmark have to do with this discussion? I think that's a step further into what I perceive to be a sketchy view of reality.

No, I'm not serious. I am being sarcastic to the rest of the guys who try to pretend we know what Romine is or isn't bc we don't.Trey_Guidry4three said:DaveBird10 said:How about Rich Beyers? Transfer big who can step out and hit the 3. I think this thread went wide left a while ago.
