I have the almost the same thoughts as yesterday. Rey is improving all the time and we need Key and Cope to play better. Key was a bit better today, but still a long way from the 1st month of last year. Chastain has some ability, but is a bit lost at times. He is active and I like that. No Hein, virtually no Gassman, an 8 man rotation and two wins. Stick to it DAN! I see Akron and Boise as middle of the pack MVC teams. We are heading in the right direction and will be very good in the MVC.

Those are meaningless this time of year. Pretty sure 3 of those will not be Q4 at the end of the year. Maybe even a couple Q2.

This team is a Yarbrough traffic ticket away from losing 13 games in the Valley.

True, but almost every team in the country is losing their best player away from being awful. This team is probably going to be average with or without him.

Boise missing their best player today. Glad the Birds capitalized. Make room in the trophy case for that 5th place hardware. Just listened today. Seems less painful than for those that watched. Anytime we come from 10 down and win, it’s a good win.

First 4 games were:

Last 2 games were:

The last two games we have shot far fewer 3s and won both games. Shot 40% from 3 in both games. 49% on 2s both games. We ran our offense better, which have resulted in longer possessions, more high-percentage shots, and fewer long rebounds that enable opponents to start secondary break.

Still would like to see Copeland and Jefferson take it to the hole more, but that will come.

By subtracting out all Hein’s air balls now that he’s on the bench, is it any wonder we’re shooting fewer 3s and our percentages are rising?

Good game today. Despite all of our players and staff being total morons. :roll:
Took an early punch, then chipped away, took the lead and never gave it up.
Fantastic line by MY today 28/8/6 with two turnovers.
Active Redbird crowd today helped the team out.
Only 9 turnovers, only 14 fouls, 8 steals
Two BS players combined for 10 turnovers
Rey had a solid game. He's coming along well

After watching the games here the last three days, here is a couple of my takeaways:

Milik is unstoppable when he is focused.

Rey Idowu and Matt Chastain will be good #6 & #7 players off the bench when Valley play begins. Gained some valuable minutes here the last couple days & really stepped up defensively.

Dan can really get their attention when he wants to (timeout during Tuesday’s game was not intended for children to hear). Got the attention of us fans in the stands.

These players respect Dan.

Those on this board who spend their time on here bashing the players and Dan need to find another team to cheer for. We don’t need your negative bullshit on here.
