Yep, this. Will do nothing but help the team when the valley starts and we have an opportunity to win in the arch.

We have to remember that a team that is barely over .500 last year with all its guys back isn’t automatically a good team.

And this ISU team clearly is not a good team right now.

It’s a little above average. Again.

Talent isn’t good enough to be a great team.

They have 1 good player (Fayne). 1 sometimes good player (yarb). 2 JUCOs guards figuring it out. And 2 seniors who people thought would take it up a level but clearly have not.

Put that all together and you have another 19-14 type team.

SD State is just better at basketball. At least we are getting to see how we stack up against the SD State, BYU, and Ole Pisses of the basketball world.

Very reasonable unlike some other's comments

We played poorly but we had tons of shots around the rim that just didn’t fall. Just a bad night and they played better.

I think ISU FAN 1 has hit it on the head and is on the majority on this Jank thing.

I agree. And spoke with someone close to the program yesterday that echos your general sentiment. Along with your comment from the past emploring Muller to get a real point guard.

But hey, when Jefferson “figures it out’”, look out.

Exactly. He has a .600 winning percentage. Out of 30 games that's an 18-12 record. Sorry, that's not good enough. Are you guys happy with 18-12 with an nit every 3 seasons. Talk about settling.

He's held them back because nobody has truly bought in because Dan let's him do whatever.so they all think they can. And that's on Dan. I do think Dan's a good coach but he's lost this team.

I want to be the first to tell you, you're a stupid IDIOT

Give us a break and go on a vacation until April, I'll be glad to start a go fund me account for you.
I think the chances that you are the first, are very remote.

You don’t need to settle. Duke’s still looking for more fans.

This is who ISU is. If you are looking for true basketball relevance, you’re looking in the wrong place. We’re usually mediocre to good, and rarely great. We’re a middling mid major in an uninspiring conference. The ceiling is what it is.

It doesn't have to be like this. Think little be little. How are any of you successful in life? I know some of you are because you didn't think little and took chancesome and became a success.

what a crock of garbage. Uninspiring conference. So Loyola’s final 4 bid was uninspired? This dude will never be satisfied.

Can’t shoot 31 percent from the field and 21 percent from 3 and expect to win.

Also, giving up 17 offensive rebounds is not acceptable. They are “athletic”, but got run off the floor by Iowa state and duke. Have some pride and box out.

We live and die with 3’s. The nights they fall we are ok, the nights we don’t, it’s not going to be good.

Muller’s inability to run the offense through Fayne and Yarb in the post is really bad coaching in my opinion. Copeland and Jefferson and Evans are pretty shoot shooters but they are not strong enough off the dribble to run the offense that way.

And Muller should know this. He should know that Fayne and Yarb in th block is the best chance to score every time down and that open jump shots will come through the patience of working the ball inside out.

A total lack of recognition and discipline here is reducing any possible advantage ISU has

I tried the “bitching about Redbird basketball” route for 20 years, and it didn’t work. Not settling, just accepting it for what it is.

Milk played hard. Was double teamed every time he touched the ball. Kicked out to wide open shooters who couldn’t convert. Other than Jefferson no one stepped up. Same for Fayne. Our other two seniors were no shows. Anyone who doesn’t think Milik plays hard or is our best player does not know talent. Since Dan called him out he’s played hard both ends every game. Defense didn’t lose this game. 31% shooting did. SDS is a good team too. Lots of depth and athleticism. While I hoped for a win not surprised today with our lack of available players. Not the end of the world as some believe.

Seemed like we settled for too many quick shots in the first half. If a couple threes go down in the 1st half I think this game is much different. Couldn't carry any momentum !

If you want to cherry pick Loyola, fine. But the MVC was ranked 9th in conference rankings last year, and 11th this year. Overall, I’m uninspired.

Loyolas final four run was inspiring...to us. We all hoped maybe buying into the coaches plan would happen because of it. Doesn't appear to have had any effect. This is the same team as last season at best. They might have even taken a step back. Maybe bruninga the difference.
