Linebacker.spack would turn him into a Defensive end or something…..
Just hope this season, he remembers how much he loves to hoop. I'm sure Spack wouldn't mind a 6'4+ weapon to through to...
I was just messing around but if somehow Ty does end up playing both, the scholarship would be counted against the team with the fewest to offer. So, it'd hit the hoops number.I think to do it, he'd have to be on a scholarship that counts against football and not basketball. So if Spack wants to free up a schollie for the basketball team while Ty Pence plays for us, I'm down for that.
I thought it worked that way for every other sport but Football, to discourage teams from signing guys to swimming scholarships and what notI was just messing around but if somehow Ty does end up playing both, the scholarship would be counted against the team with the fewest to offer. Could be. I just remember Bryant Allen and Levi Dyer were both on men's basketball schollies.I thought it worked that way for every other sport but Football, to discourage teams from signing guys to swimming scholarships and what not

On the FBS level, a basketball/football player counts against football. I can't find anything that says anything different for FCS. But, football is an equivalency sport at the FCS level, not a full scholarship sport. So I'm thinking at the FCS level the scholarship must count against basketball. I just can't find it anywhere. That would explain Levi and Bryant.
Interesting enough, the winner of last years SSB bracket is the 1 seed in the LSB this year after beating Metamora at State last year. The brackets are set for the State Farm Holiday Classic. SJO is the #1 seed and starts the tournament at 12 pm on 12/27 at Normal West High School.
Can you give your opinion on his ceiling? Is he capable of playing good minutes immediately? He's been at most, if not all home games. Happy to see him remaining engaged during his senior season.
I haven't seen him live since last season. It was strange, It didn't seem like he did much and then you look at the stat sheet and he had 25 while essentially being triple teamed most of the game. I'll be seeing him in the next couple weeks and will be sure to share my thoughts. Can you give your opinion on his ceiling? Is he capable of playing good minutes immediately?
