thanks .. was hoping maybe they were still debating whether to flip the bird

Hah! Still hoping for a last minute change of heart. "The Miracle on Main," we'd call it.

I generally have a very negative view of flipping the bird, but in this case I'm indifferent.

very disappointing .. "indifference" is not an option ... It's about an attitude !!

Indifference is a survival mechanism in these interesting times. But I will hold fast to my negative view on bird flipping. There are but two exceptions in my simple mind, and since neither Bradley or Wichita St. are likely to visit Hancock, I must remain indifferent.

Anybody ever consider a "Double Bird"? Put two Reggies in the middle of the field each facing a different way...problem solved! Just kidding...Sunday morning...I need another cup of coffee!

I know a bunch of these "flip the bird" posts are rooted in jokes, but I know others aren't. So I ask, why does it matter which side the bird faces? Are some of our fans really that pretentious/entitled that they think they "deserve" to look at Reggie facing the new side? As long as the cameras stay on the Horton side, the Bird will, and should always face that side.

I will spare the fine people of this board yet another debate on the matter but you can look through my post history for my argument.

People who really want an upside down Reggie on ESPN feeds, just so they can look at it from their seats amaze me.

It would just be so cool if we didn't have to rehash this all over again but the idea was that the logo would be rotated and the cameras would switch sides. Again, this has all been covered before and I will rest my case until the next turf replacement.

The cameras need to be on the west side. The sun isn't a problem then.

Yeah, are some folks just not getting it? Cameras have to be on the west side facing east. There is really no choice here to keep debating, unless you suggest no Reggie at all. As I said before, and others of said, this actually is a good thing. TV sees the new east side. We look much bigger and better for TV now.
