I don't know if we suffered more injuries when compared to other teams, but the softer the better. I hope we don't lose some kind of home field advantage by having had such awful turf before. It might have been difficult for visiting teams to get used to it. But you can't stand in the way of progress ... it looks great.

Walked the field this week and it is a stunning difference. Makes the entire place look better. Seems maybe a bit silly but I believe it's a confidence booster for the players and the entire program in general...and hopefully the fan base (ie: donors).
I think this is going to be a memorable year for Redbird athletics.

Stopped by the stadium when I was in town a couple weeks ago and took pics that I decided weren’t worth sharing. Knew a professional would do it sooner or later. All I have to say is... wait til you see it in person!

I remember when Mizzou gussied up Faurot Field for its inaugural season in the SEC. Our new turf looks just as good. Just wish we would have done something disctinctive with the endzones like they did. But what we did was a big step up from the past look.MPE773 said:
