Is it me or does it seem that the ref with the worst view/behind the play at the rim keep calling the fouls on us..

I do not think the refs have been factor overall but I am generally not too caught up in the officiating unless there is some blatant missed call. I think our lack of muscle/size makes it look like we are getting beat up more than we are actually getting beat up.

Evans scoring is reminiscent of Tarise Bryson. I think the Birds could win up to 22 games counting the Valley tournament and get consideration for an NIT bid. Could be better if injured players make key contributions on their return. Really would like to see Romine get minutes and rebounds to allow rest for front court players. What is the latest word on him?

Yarbrough is a freak cause he does so many things well. He can shoot outside, he can score on the blocks, makes his free throws and is a terrific passer. He is a load. What I like about Evans besides the fact that he can flat out shoot is for the first time in a long time we have someone who can “stop and pop”. He gets to the rack, he clearly had the outside shot and he can pull up off a full dribble and hit the intermediate shot. Once Tinsley gets going and we get healthy I truly believe we will win the conference. Finally the showed poise when Tulsa made their run.
