We just went 2-2, all away from home, with 0 cupcakes involved. This without our starting center and best interior defender, our touted freshman point guard, and another other legit interior presence. Not to mention our prized JC transfer being ineligible. I was prepared to come home 0-4, and instead they beat an SEC school, and an AAC school. This team has a good chance at winning the conference once they are healthy. Just gotta learn to guard M2M more effectively. Muller is a miracle worker at this point...

IMO, considering name and brand, wins over South Carolina and Tulsa carry a lot more significance than if we had inverted the results and beaten Boise State and FGCU, and lost to SC and Tulsa. And at the end if the year, Boise and FGCU could look like "good" losses.

Completely agree.

I also agree that Muller has done a helluva a job thus far. Dude is doing everything he can and then some to run this program the right way...discipline, educating, scheduling; all of which are much tougher to do these days than in the past.

Also agree. I for one did not expect to be 2-2 after these first 4 games. Two solid wins and two loses that will probably not be viewed as "bad" as the season rolls on. Looking forward to getting some guys back and up to speed, but pleasantly surprised with how the current group is handling their situation.

i made a statement in another thread about MY being the best player that will take the court in every Valley matchup we have this year.

I was doubted.

I stand by that assessment.

I agree too and ISU chose not to invest in the men's bb program via locking up Muller. Please save me the bs argument about his recent contract extension...that is a one way deal. I am guessing this may be his last season at ISU and almost certainly he will be gone by the 2019 season.

He could be . . . provided he takes the court in every Valley matchup . . . how many times has he broken team rules already this season?
