Just for clarification, are you saying that the TV deals give the schools money to offset when boosters route their money directly to players instead of donating it to the football program?Bummer for UNI - and what all FCS schools, especially Valley schools are afraid of - Big Ten poaching good players, with NIL (TV) money.
TV money gives these programs amazing resources, but that money isn’t used to pay players beyond scholarships/“cost of attendance” money. Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, etc aren’t shelling out 6-7 figures for players themselves.
