I don’t see many advantages to playing at ISU in the MVC compared to playing in the pac 12.

CBS national had the Arizona v arizona state game on this weekend. Horne was on fire early, I’m guessing that’s a little more exciting than playing UNI on ESPN+

That’s pretty much all I was trying to say…that Horne has a much better chance (and much better visibility), to make it to the NBA if he’s lighting it up playing on a crappy team in the PAC 12 vs. lighting it up playing for a crappy team in the MVC.

FVV, Baker and McDermott (although he might fall into your latter category since his entire team transferred for his final year) are all I can think of.

I’ve watched a bunch of guys transfer from MVC to P5. Not only is the grass not always greener, history has shown, it typically isn’t.

Just woke up and saw that DJ horne and Arizona state knocked off UCLA last night in 3 OT. What was DJ thinking??? This kid could have been playing in front of 4200 fans (with a nice boost from the Saluki fans) and taking a big L to move into 8th place in the MVC. Clearly made a horrible move as many are suggesting here

Correct! Instead he gets to play on a 7-13 ASU team (3-7 in conference)!

I watched ASU finish with 29 pts in a home game this season. Now that is big time!

I’m willing to bet Reeves doesn’t give a rats ass about his placement in Redbird basketball history. If another program gives him a better shot to the NBA, he’s gone. And he should be.

Reeves has proved he can’t score against a committed, disciplined defense.

Not gonna argue that, but he had bad shooting nights at ISU also, so what is the point?

That’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying his ASU team is not good. Sweet they beat UCLA - good enough for their 7th win of the season! I envy their basketball program!
