Looking at the numbers today. Okoro based on his numbers from last year would have the 5th best player rating on our team last season. Assume that only goes up with a year to work on his game and the change in competetion.

I am begging our coaching staff, please please please throw him the dang ball in 2 years.

I know this offends people on here, but next season is a throw away. We should be working all year how to make an offense work with Horne, Reeves, and Okoro. I know Okoro can't play, but then need to start working on things when he becomes eligible.
I agree ... I think next season is a development season for sure. We should strive for improvement but keep our eye and focus on the 2021-22 season. Besides the three pieces you mention, it is important that we identify, develop, and retain 3 additional pieces. I keep wondering if Fisher would be able to get another year of eligibility or not. If yes, I would say that we should have 4 pieces then for that season.

When you look at the remaining players and potential, I actually believe this is achievable vs. Just wishful thinking

The big thing will be those 3 additional pieces. Not everyone in a recruiting class will be good enough to play. It doesn’t happen at Kentucky, it’s not happening here. I hope we determine early who can play and get them a ton of minutes.

Imo the biggest piece is Flemming. If he can play point then you slide Horne to an off guard on offense and you're set with 3 really good guards. Put Okoro in the middle and then you have a lot of other Freshmen and Sophomores to play alongside those 4. But Flemming being able to play point alongside of Horne and Reeves is huge.

The silver lining regardless of outcome...

We've got TG43 saying he's not interested.

We've got ricohill saying it's a done deal.

Okoro played in 29 games last year and 37 as a frosh. There's no medical redshirt available to him.

This year. He wants to sit out to heal. Why cant he medical redshirt in the future based on what he did at oregon im confused. im saying use this as a transfer redshirt in case he gets hurt in the future. what he did at oregon should hurt him should he go down at ISU in a year or two.

That's not how it works. If it was, Fisher wouldn't be a senior.

Well if it's the 4 schools that TG43 said of Illinois, Missouri. TCU and Indiana then TG43 has some great sources bc Indiana and TCU weren't on the list of schools that Rothstein tweeted out at the beginning that contacted Okoro.

Heard Chris Payton would be interested in teaming up with Francis if/should he end up in Normal.

Hearing Trey is correct. Hope my source is wrong.

It would be pretty cold of him to do that pic and then go somewhere else. Why would anybody do that?

Maybe TG should replace one of them with the Billikens.

Where will he make the announcement?

I read he is announcing on Snapchat, which is a technology I don’t have nor want to learn. So I will be behind when it’s announced on twitter 30 seconds later.
