In that kind of biz, you used to get fired for 'source' reporting when your source turned out to be Ray Finkle.

Now...you're fired IF YOU LIST a source. Up is down and left is right. Get me off this dance floor.

Retire and humdinger. As I said before, I feel awful. I thought for sure last night from people close to him that it was going to happen. I deserve everything I get for messing up.

Next time use your brain and not your heart. Let's face it ISU had the same amount of chance last night that they do right now. None. Rico, did you actually buy into Okey coming to ISU or you just want to show a soft side to the red bloods on the board who you point out how unrealistic and wrong they are an hourly basis?

No, I’m upset I was wrong. I don’t know who you talked to, but it seemed like last night he wanted to go to ISU.

I don’t care to argue over this. You got it right, I got it wrong.

In the end there is only one way to build the program for ISU. Get players in here who REALLY want to be here and who develop equity for the name on the front. Not kids who maybe or kinda want to be here.

Seems like we have a group coming in next year who want to make ISU their own. Maybe this whole Okoro thing will be motivating for them to show it can be done without him.

He’s gone. 8 pages on a player not interested in ISU, that’s enough. Move on

I agree ... I think next season is a development season for sure. We should strive for improvement but keep our eye and focus on the 2021-22 season. Besides the three pieces you mention, it is important that we identify, develop, and retain 3 additional pieces. I keep wondering if Fisher would be able to get another year of eligibility or not. If yes, I would say that we should have 4 pieces then for that season.

When you look at the remaining players and potential, I actually believe this is achievable vs. Just wishful thinking

The big thing will be those 3 additional pieces. Not everyone in a recruiting class will be good enough to play. It doesn’t happen at Kentucky, it’s not happening here. I hope we determine early who can play and get them a ton of minutes.
Imo the biggest piece is Flemming. If he can play point then you slide Horne to an off guard on offense and you're set with 3 really good guards. Put Okoro in the middle and then you have a lot of other Freshmen and Sophomores to play alongside those 4. But Flemming being able to play point alongside of Horne and Reeves is huge.
