What did you expect from a program that hasn’t sniffed the tournament since the 90’s.

I am so heartbroken. As of last night it was going to be ISU. You can pile on me as much as you want, but I thought for sure this was the guy that was going to bring us back. This is devastating. We would have had a great chance to be back in 2 years. I apologize for being wrong.

I think everyone was excited over his pic last night. No harm on your part Rico

It’s not your fault. Muller needs to start building this program. This program has been going downhill since the Florida pipeline.

What kind of asshole posts what he did last night then 24 hours later commits to a different school. Wish him nothing but disappointment.

You weren’t wrong. I heard the same and then my source told me this afternoon he changed his mind.

Kick in the gut for sure.

Guys, SLU came on strong at the end. I got a text an hour ago he was not returning home. At first I was very upset because I was hoping ISU had a shot regardless of what I was hearing from the Okoro camp. I really thought he would've picked Missouri or Illini but at end of day he picked playing time with a better coach, conference and situation. Best of luck to Okey. Will miss you at church bud!

Honestly, the dude averaged 3 points. 3! Are we really that desperate that any future success hinges on a guy who played 25 minutes and averaged 3 points? Sadly, I guess we are.
This program is a hot mess and irrelevant.

We have to start contending again to optimize our recruitment efforts. That means 20-23 wins consistently, top 3 conference regular season finishes, NIT invitations and wins / advancements, and the occasional MVC tournament championships. I’m not talking Kentucky or Duke level consistency but I don’t see why we can’t be like Murray State or Belmont in terms of competitiveness over an extended period of time. Mediocrity does nothing for exposure.

Then we shouldn't have let Yak go to UIC. Already recruiting great

Not your fault ... he made the decision. Plus he posted that picture in RBA in Redbird uniform.
