I would actually like to know what Redbird Recon, CPacmel, Bird Friend, Hulka think about this. Is this a devastating blow for ISU or just another day in college basketball?

What is the sentiment from the insiders about the impact of this de-commit? Does it impact the current team? Coaching staff? Does it impact other recruits? Does it impact our prospects for landing other players we were after for 2018 or 2019?
Another day in college basketball. The only way a situation like this works out is if a kid wants to be done with the grind of summer basketball and wants to stay close to home.

There's a really good chance CP ends up as a top-5 player in his in-state class. He will have "bigger" options.

Whoever alluded to building relationships for down the road; spot on! Don't forget our best player in one who turned us down the first time around.
