Isn’t that the old Crowne Plaza? City place I think it’s called now.

There better be a boat load of Loyola students... check out this deal they put out.

Loyola athletics announced students can pay $25 for bus, hotel and tickets to Saturday and Sunday games at #ArchMadness. It Will be chaperoned by people from Loyola ResLife (For any parents worried about spring break shenanigans)

I would have loved something like this when I was a student. Personally, I think ISU should put together a whole weekend trip package for students and fans.

Hahaha Hulka! That is awesome, and accurate. I read reviews and it definitely sounds like a city hotel.

I booked the Hyatt through Priceline 2 days ago for $107, but the Hyatt doesn't have any record of it. Priceline confirmed that it's a confirmed reservation, but the Hyatt still doesn't know it.

We stayed at the City Crowne Plaza last year. It's been ridden hard. Maybe it got a facelift?

I’m staying in the new hotel CityVann Place. It’s down by the river. Comes with tinted windows and Scooby Snacks on your pillow.

If they look like chocolates, I’d pass on them.

ISU doesn’t care. They never put anything like this together anymore.

Drake isn't really going to get beat by Valpo at home, will they? C'mon Dogs. I want the 4 seed.

Good teams and programs don't hope to not play certain teams. Come on guys you have to beat whoever you are matched up with and chances are you will run into the team you don't "want to play" at some point so stop worrying about it!!!

Bad memories linger from late game two years ago. Lansing had his Trees pruned and ready to bear fruit; we laid an egg. Conversely, I could see a disinterested Lusk team hibernating its way through a 3-6 nightcap.

I agree Trey, you have to beat whoever is put in front of you, obviously. However, what team wouldn't want the easiest path to success? That's human nature.

Totally understand where u are coming from. Do u think there is an advantage playing Saturday night vs Saturday afternoon despite the opponent ?

Just posted the same in the other discussion about the #3 seed. Would much rather have BU in the daytime and not the late, late show vs INSU.

Trey, I've never really thought about it. I would assume there is more benefit in playing in the first game Saturday. More rest and get more time to scout the opposing team. However, at this point, everyone has player everyone twice and you probably don't need to scout much.

I guess there is something about waiting all day long and playing in a later than normal time on a neutral floor. I just hope we can put an end to the 6 beating 3 streak that has haunted st Louis for years

One positive - there are not many players on the current roster who were there or even playing two years ago.
