Trey, I've never really thought about it. I would assume there is more benefit in playing in the first game Saturday. More rest and get more time to scout the opposing team. However, at this point, everyone has player everyone twice and you probably don't need to scout much.

I guess there is something about waiting all day long and playing in a later than normal time on a neutral floor. I just hope we can put an end to the 6 beating 3 streak that has haunted st Louis for years

Scottrade also empties out for the late-late show because the only fans left are those of the 3-6 teams. Trees' blue jerseys will blend with empty seats; advantage Lansing. This game will be the snooze fest afterthought of the day - always is. Just hope we find a way. Win ugly, because there are no style points in the 3-6 game.

The MVC "owns" this weekend in terms of highest profile conference tournament. Wait, the B1G is playing theirs a week early now, pushing our already 2nd tier tourney further into the shadows.

At least the MVC "owns" St. Louis. Uh oh. The SEC is hosting their tourney at Scott Trade next weekend. MVC is looking smaller all the time, in every conceivable way.

FWIW, he did leave the INSU game with an ankle injury, and did NOT return.

I saw that. He was literally carried off the court by some teammates and limped gingerly through the handshake line.

My last 3-6 game for ISU was about 6 years ago and we beat Northern Iowa. Baltimore Bird is back! We got this one.
