Seniors. We're going to miss Fayne. Other than that. Addition through subtraction.
:text-+1: Fayne a really good player. He is the biggest victim of this team’s poor performance.
This. Fayne played his ass off for this team. Too bad it had to end like this.

At one timeout HCDM chewed his @ss out and made a scene.... Not what you want to see out a head coach berating the guy whos playing his tail off meanwhile your guards keep throwing up bricks from three.

I’d love to know what was said. Anyone?

Phil Fayne was a really good player all year long. He was consistent for the majority of our games. Milik was the most talented but just too many issues. Key and boogie just never got better. Nice kids but just didn’t work out. Gassman plays hard but not talented enough for this level. Not sure Hein could start for IWU. I DO like JJ. He can shoot it and He DOES take it to the rack. 2 more years to get better. The last two games Rey showed flashes of what he can become. DM said he’s not recruiting a center but look at the problems we had all year against 7 footers. Getting one would be nice.

DM will still be here next year so all the conjecture about the next coach is a waste of time IMO.

Don’t have a clue about all the guys sitting out either. We have a redshirt freshman who supposedly will be pretty good. Otherwise transfers from not great programs so who knows?

3 scholarships to give. Would like to see a point guard, an aircraft carrier in the middle and use the 3d one for the
Best player available.

Ultimately I am simply glad the season is over

I’m just glad ISU got that shitty game last night out of the way, to pave the way for this stellar performance.

Will definitely miss Fayne. Great player. Wish our offense had flowed through him for more of the season.

Honestly, I'll miss Key too. Really enjoyed watching him play the last two years, and wish this season could have gone better for him. There were times last season when everything he chucked up seemed to go in. Injury definitely changed his game.

I knew this game would turn out bad when Dandy Don started singing at the tip off.

With all our niceness, maybe we can get the MVC equivalent of the Lady Bing trophy?

All I’m looking forward to next year is the evolution of the Chastain man bun to the full fledged hee hive.

Year 8 on tap. What could go wrong? Until we realize our coach isn’t getting it done, we aren’t going anywhere.

We probably can’t afford to fire him, but maybe we need to ask if we can afford to keep him?

Apathy has set in for me. Didn’t go to a home game this year. Won’t go again until we have some winners on the team who play like a team.

Question...the $$$ we saved by leaving the Lou early, can that go towards a buyout? It might not be much, but every little bit counts. That gofundme idea is looking better after tonight’s train wreck.

Dan’s totaled the program, but because it’ll cost more to fix than it’s book value, we’ll just choose to suck.

This was worse than the 30 point loss to Drake in the final, in that Drake played that game with Emmenecker and Bucky Cox.

Why is Benson so quiet? Why wasn’t the press conference tweeted out by the MVC? Why is it so quiet?

Apparently apathy has set in everywhere. Benson better be writing one hell of an article and not play it safe.

I am afraid you are most likely correct. It’s going to be a long, hard next few years. I’m going to start playing the lottery.

We have some $$$ types but I don’t know if they care enough to cough up the cash to end this 💩 show.

Now we know what bu has felt for the last decade plus. We could very easily become a Thursday night fixture for awhile. Dammit.

He’s numb.

Yarbs “finally found real brothers on this team.” Wonder how his biological brothers feel about that? Possibly they’re okay with that?

Leave it to our "star" to blow my under bet with a flashy dunk at the end followed by a hulked up stare down after. A microcosm of the entire season.

Good riddance, 2018-19 Illinois State basketball.

Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

That got him up to 3-17 from the field. 2-16 would have been embarrassing.
