ESPN Top 10 dumbest things we’ve ever seen actually work candidate?

MaybeBaby.

End of the day, and I'm laughing as I type this, but I give DM credit for the trick or treat. Matter of fact in a weird sort of way I kind of respect him even more. If that had failed even I would have gone gonzo on him and he would have set the Redbird fanbase and probably even administration ON FIRE. The boys' got a set, let me tell ya.

And I'd still take him in a hallway fight with our friend from Wichita.

That should be a flagrant

Anyone have video of this? I sit on the other side of the arena and didn't have a clear view of what happened. The refs pretty quickly said there was nothing there and moved on.

He’s play it straight, and got bit on the ass a couple times. Maybe a little unconventional strategy got ISU off the schneid. Dan does think outside the box. No doubt about that.

Feels like a 20% chance we win this game

Any suggestions for lottery numbers i should "play" ;) ?

Quite the interesting end to the game. Was scratching my head. Found HCDM explanation acceptable. And given how things have gone this year, understandable

Outside of the lull to start half 2, we played a very good game.

Will need to see the Hein play on the replay. Sounds like we have a score to settle.

Hein inadvertently stuck his left hand in the Drake kid’s face screening out on a loose ball rebound. The Drake kid, pretty obviously in this Bird fans biased opinion, responded by grabbing Hein’s bad hand and giving it a yank. I thought it blatantly dirty, and the Drake kid only went for that hand because it was injured. Obviously reading a lot into intent and motive, but that’s how I saw it. But why else would he target to hand?

PS. The last three by Boogie was the most important shot of his career! Nothing but net! Couldn’t be happier for a really nice kid!

A big Reggie thumbs up to that, Coach. Great previous post btw. Well I'll be damned is right.

Inadvertent, but Key’s knee on knee shot, caused the Drake player to go down like he’d been shot. Definitely Key got the better end of that knee knocker.

Has there been any updates on Matt’s injury?

That was a punk ass play by Thomas.

The Birds had lost 5 straight games into this one. I love Dan's move at the end of the game. Drake was pretty cold from 3 but everyone knows they would have made one on that possession. They also fouled a freshman, in a 1&1 situation. Way too much pressure for the kid to handle. Then he put faith in his team to make the FTs. All of them did. For the Muller haters out there, he coached a great game in the second half. He went zone when Drake wasn't expecting, then the fouls.

If the seniors played all season like they did today, we would be talking about a regular season MVC championship, not how to stay off Thursday night in STL.

That's all for now. Hopefully the Blers get the w over SIU.

Coach said in the post game he volunteered to go back in. He said he'd have to see how things go if he plays Wednesday so sounds non season ending

The AD after Lyons who fires Dan will only have to show the video of fouling instantly under your own basket with a 4 point lead and 10 seconds left...because you are “tired of losing on last second shots.”

With that coaching moxy how have we lost any games?

Ya love it now (and so do I), but I'm curious - did you love it in real time?

I actually did, yeah. I was texting with a couple other coaches during the late time outs and said I loved it. Seeing everything with this season and how the basketball gods (they're real) have not been on our side, don't leave that up to chance. Then also factor in our guys usually play really well in OT, and it was a recipe for success. Doing this, Muller has put the thought in every other team he plays that "hey, this is what they could do..." it makes it harder to prep for, because there are two late game situations the other coach has to plan for. Will we see it again? Who knows.

I don't care what anybody says. Thomas intentionally did that to Hein's hand. I watched him do it. I was furious and I was getting more and more mad watching hein writhe on the floor. Punk ass kid...I told Hein we'll see him in STL don't trip.

Oh and BTW clearly I'm your guys good luck charm but I gotta go back to California so they have to actually compete on Wednesday.. I can't help. Sorry lol

LOL. Maybe against Missou State, we can shoot with our feet, so teams have to prep for that.
