Brock needs to go big or go home when it comes to signing new players go for the three and four stars and guess what , we'll be there (national championship). And we need to move up to FBS anyway

Iowa Central CC OL with 2 years to play. Sauser is the #5 ranked JUCO interior lineman. He started his career at Iowa State. We recruited him out of high school. He got into some trouble at Iowa State which seems to have landed him at Iowa Central.
Sauser plays tomorrow in a bowl game against Snow JC in the UNI Dome.
Dodge Sauser help leads his team to a bowl victory.

This will be a big week for portal entry and none of this is unique to Illinois State University. Every school has players seeking a better opportunity or better social/team chemistry. And every school has a coaching staff that feels that some players lack the all-in attitude, and they would be better off if they moved on.
Because of this my attitude towards the transfer portal is changing. I'm starting to warm up to it. Why restrict movement? Let's get everybody where they want to be. When the team gathers in the spring and summer, I want a group of players that want to be there and a group of coaches happy with the players they have.

Ohio State or Oklahoma starting QB’s are not transferring to Illinois State. Unfortunately the new transfer rule of not having to sit out a year pretty much have ended that.
I realize they aren't coming to ISU, I was just having a little fun with the situation.

A few recent portal entries from the state of Illinois I noticed scanning the portal. We have not offered any of these players but most entered today. We offered Bryant coming out of high school.
So Basically if ISU goes after 1 of these so call Big School QB’s etc 4star guys we are basically saying we don’t believe in the guy we presently have etc. Which again I emphasize It’s Tommy Rittenhouse JOB to lose. He has been there and waited his turn show he can produce. Which I don’t care if it was any player on ISU roster who has produce help the team and been thru the gauntlet. The Coaching staff as well as fans should respect those players. Not just throw them to the side with next man up attitude without actually having players compete and pencils guys in just because of stats/former schools/friends etc ! Those are some of the reasons kids hit the portal who really want to be on teams but are not given opportunity which in turn also rub some of their team mates the wrong way knowing the team could be better with certain guys playing but we’re not given a fair shot !
