I played through at least a hundred stress fractures back in my day, on second thought it was head colds.

Maybe this has already been talked about in a previous thread, but I was at the county fair last night and saw Matt Chastain and Taylor walking around. Taylor was in a Walking boot. Anyone know anything about what happened?

Precautionary for a possible stress fracture. He should be good to go within a week per my source. He will have a big year in my opinion. He would have been on the all-freshman team if it weren’t for the concussion.

I just saw Taylor on campus waiting for a bus. He was wearing a boot again (or he never stopped wearing one from the beginning of August, etc). I hope by October that I'm not wishing King David was back. We need Taylor as one of our 'bigs'. I'm hoping it's just a precautionary thing. Anybody know if he's been practicing at all?

Good news. Taylor is back to light running and shooting from what I hear.

Thanks! That's good to hear.

As a face-the-basket 6'-8" forward whose skill set is more shooting than banging on the blocks under the basket, TB might turn out to be Lou-ish. If he can improve his defense, foul less and a average close to 6 rebounds per game he would be one of the better forwards in the Valley.

That's an interesting comparison that I've never thought about before. Nice take!

Bruninga is gonna be counted on for some major minutes this season. Beside Phil and Rey, we don’t have many guys who can play down low on the defensive side. Happy to here he put on 15 lbs.

Taylor has all the tools to becoma a Bob Harstad -like player in the MVC. He will be a big part of the team’s success.
