Down 21 wasn’t happy. But made a run with freshmen on the floor. Didn’t quit. I actually feel pretty good about this team. We rebounded really well. Lieb with 12. Turnovers far fewer in the last 10 minutes and we created some defensive turnovers. Yea things to clean up but only the second game against a quality opponent.

If we came out with the same starting five next game, no problem. All I know is that this team looked over matched the first three quarters of the game. I assume coach is figuring out which lineups play best together and are most productive.

The foul disparity in the first half was laughable. We lose by 9 and they hand STL the game with Seventeen (17) Jimerson throws!!!!!! The turnovers are a concern, but this team is quicker than most anyone outside of KY on our schedule. To hold a team without a FG for 13 minutes is admirable. I liked the lineup at the end, but against this was hodgepodge at beat with Lewis and Burford on the bench. Showed good fight instead of rolling over down by 22!

Lieb with a strong first half. Other than not being in during the run, why sit him down the stretch?

Poindexter and Banks were solid.

Kaxooski’s stat line was forgettable

Kinsinger shot well, but needs to start notching some assists

Left 8 points at the charity stripe.

Double bonus 7 minutes in? 🙄

I was impressed with Lieb, just has to cut down the turnovers and the 3 ball. He had 11 of those rebounds in the first half. Didn't play down the stretch. Coach chose to ride it out with Banks, Poindexter, Kinziger, Pence, and Foster. Definitely not what you would've expected to hear before the game.

I think coach leaving Chase out of this game says a lot about his plan. Absent an injury in the front court, I think it's likely he will redshirt. Was Sissoko dressed/active tonight? I didn't play close attention.

A theme from last year that we saw again tonight. Got down big early, chipped away, clawed back to make it look interesting enough and then fell in the end.

Some solid things from a handful of guys. Come back and protect home court next week.

We missed too many free throws once again. The birds played with some extremely quick whistles tonight. A foul is a foul but man the foul disparity is pretty one sided. It’s a game they should’ve won anyway. Just don’t hope the slow starts continue.

We didn’t adjust. Ok, the refs sucked. Don’t over play, or play agressive. They clearly were a poor three point shooting team in the first half. Sag off while in foul trouble and make them fire away. We helped them out. Play with a little basketball IQ!

Little bumpy. Not unexpected in the first true road game against a good team. Need to tighten up the turnovers for sure. Not giving up 46 in a half would be nice too. Flush this one and take care of business on Wednesday.

Defensively they were much better in the 2nd Half. Like you said turnovers are bit of a problem. The pg position is in stone. I’d like to see more scoring from Brandon, Miles need to finish a lil better at the rim, Lewis need to get healthy and stay healthy to give us what he gives us, DB need to get back as well. Johnny is play well right now but need to see the court a lil better in half court sets. Our wings need to step up and give us more. Mal is playing well especially on the boards, his fr % will go up. If this team can come out on all cylinders early offensively I still be piece they can be a problem. This was a game they should’ve won but didn’t.
