I posted repeatedly last year - we can't guard without fouling and we turn the ball over too much. Not even one half in and we are at 15 fouls and 7 turnovers. It doesn't matter much what rotations are, who closes games, etc... if we can't fix those two things we'll continue to be a bad basketball team.
They are having a tough time getting into an offense too.

Great to see Kinzinger hit back to back threes. Hopefully that gets his confidence going, would love to see him get more minutes. I wasn't aware Travis Ford is their coach. I remember him playing at Kentucky. I don't know much about the St Louis program but I do believe Ford is a solid coach and will build a good program there if he hasn't already.

I missed most of the first half but saw most of the 16-0 run they went on. Our guys don't look confident. One of the biggest downsides of playing back to back games against teams like Wesleyan and Lourdes is that the level of physicality and skillset is dramatically different. It'll take some time to get used to the difference and we've now dug ourselves a pretty big hole to get out of.

I have faith in this team but can see it may take some time, especially for our freshman to get their confidence .

Hard to be confident when you’re getting called for fouls every time you breathe on a SLU player.

Love how the SLU announcers make no mention of the 13 point free throw differential….

Not making an example of you, Mr. Sutton all due respect to you, you aren't the only one -- it is KinziGER, no "zing". Think "ZIGGY".

Yeah, I missed that part of the game. St Louis IS much bigger, more athletic and physical than Wesleyan or Lourdes.

Funny thing is I actually knew that, but typed the wrong thing unconsciously

The TO by Davis just now is straight up bball IQ. What was he going to do with it if he caught it going full speed? Oh, yeah, turn it over.

Ford has been at St. Louis for 8 years now. His seat is very warm, though more games against ISU might cool it off.

I really thought we would compete in this game. A lot of new and inexperienced players on the roster. Hopefully we get better.
