I don't know what the procedure was for, but I'm sure it was the worst possible scenario for us.

Ha. Without a doubt. Given our 20-year tour of unmet expectations, no less than a broken tibia w a splash of torn ACL.

Buckle up for Thursday, boys!

Hey Hey... until the official word is out I suggest using the common ISU fan’s wishful thinking approach (aka avoid reality at all cost) and assume it was something as simple as laser surgery to remove a tattoo

Really? I thought the common fan's thinking was far from wishful.

I don't know what the surgery was... but I do know he practiced on Tuesday with full participation.

Illinois State coach Dan Muller said transfer guard Ricky Torres underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus Wed and will be sidelined 3-4 weeks, but should be ready for ISU trip to Italy in August.

Ugh.

The possibility of re-injuring a meniscus is fairly high. Who's our other option at PG?

Hmmmm. So Marshall forced a back up point guard to postpone a much needed surgery?

He was their starting point guard to start the year. Then came off the bench then started maybe 10 games before being a reserve. Marshall had high hopes for him.
