Would imagine Coach Pedon will give him a call…

I would imagine they have already connected.....

Here's and article I found and a paragraph from that article.....

"While he flashed his three-point shooting ability during his career — 39.2 percent — Ahrens never became much of a volume shooter with just 3.4 attempts per game. That lack of attempts often came to the detriment of teams that often lacked shooting. But when he did get up shots, good things often followed for the Buckeyes highlighted by a 90-76 win over Iowa in 2019 when he scored a career-high 29 points while shooting 6 of 10 from three-point range."

Come on Humdinger, Zero chance! I had a Zero chance of E J Liddell finishing up his college career as a Redbird and that didn’t happen for me. Can’t you @ least give me 0.05% chance that a little NIL benefits could persuade Tone to hang out with his buddies here for one more year?
Let's meet up for a Heineken, see what we've got in our wallets, and call 'Tone. You're RIGHT, there's always a chance. Lloyd taught me that one...

I think he could be a good get for us. IMO our biggest needs right now are replacing Reeves at the 3 and improving/adding depth in the post. He's probably good enough to start for us (he started 41 games in 4 years at OSU), but he would need to develop a more complete offensive game. 92% of his shots in his career have been from 3.

He’s played college basketball for four years. I doubt he’s going to develop into anything other than a long range shooter at this point.

Well I guess more of what I was trying to say is, he has been at a mid to upper tier Big 10 program for 4 years, are there components of his game that he has not utilized because of his role as a bench player at OSU? If Josiah Strong was at a high major, I bet he would take a greater percentage of his shots from 3 coming off the bench.

If he is in a different role here, would he have more of a mid-range and inside game? I would think that to an extent, he would. The bodies he would be banging up against would generally not be as big and there is less athleticism when you enter the paint. Is he capable of playing a different role other than a sharp shooter? If he can, I think he would start at the 3. If not, I could see him being the first man off the bench.

The Heineken’s by the pool (once the cover comes off) sounds good! As for what we’ve got in our wallets, we might get Abdou to stay.

Reeves can do so much better than this. Hot commodity and his first visit is Nebraska? A 10-22 garbage P5. Yikes.

Following in DJ Horne’s footsteps, a bottom feeder P5.
ASU is far more appealing than Nebraska. Top party school and coeds. Nebraska you can go see some heffers and a school that cares more about bottom B1G football.
