Poll: Keeping Muller

I was amazed at the color guy on the "streamcast" saying Muller has done a fantastic job at ISU over the last ten years. Made me wonder how he got that idea.

The guy on the streamcast was either medicated or drunk...maybe both.

Every year a bunch of us go to Vegas for the opening rounds. A few years ago we discussed what would happen in the eventuality of making the tournament. Do we go to the game or just watch it in Vegas? Then we stopped and considered the likelihood of this becoming as issue. Then we remembered who are coach is. We are pretty safe with our decision to continue to go to Vegas. Very safe.

If you have money to build a bubble you have money to fire Muller. Take the naming rights of Redbird Arena and use that to pay for Muller. Redbird Arena is the home of Basketball...That simple.

If you have money to build a bubble you have money to fire Muller. Take the naming rights of Redbird Arena and use that to pay for Muller. Redbird Arena is the home of Basketball...That simple.

If I’m a donor and have the choice between naming the all-sports practice bubble or some space therein, or being part of the shadow cabal ponying up to can the basketball coach, it’s a pretty easy decision.

As for Redbird Arena, it’s probably an easier sell to the Board of Trustees to say we’re going to use these funds to build the bubble, rather than we need to fire our Bone Scholar alum basketball coach who represents the university well but just hasn’t won as expected.

Maybe they could if he spittled a university employee…

Then I hope the board of trustee’s keep their day jobs. Who cares if he is a bone scholar. He isn’t cutting it. They should care about the program over a coaches ego.

I can’t say I disagree with you. However, an ambassador for the university could most likely be found for less than 550,000 +.
