nice find .. note this is dated Sept 6 and indicated 3 of 6 FCS players are ISU. But Bj Bello is now on Browns acrive roster and imagine if Cam Meredith had not gotten injured .. they would be talking about 8 FCS players on rosters, with 5 being from ISU.

But where's Zack Zenner and David Johnson ??

And di author mean to say FCS MVFC players only ?

yeah, they came from U of I ... plot twist .. except they both needed to transfer to ISU to get noticed by NFL !!!!!!!!!

Great photo, as well as great stories. Nate was a quiet leader who as I understood it didn't say much but when he spoke people listened. Great to see the two of them doing so well and great testament to what ISU and MVC football produces. Its great to see Carson Wentz doing so well, makes what he did to us sting no less but he obviously was all that. :)

the Bears smell bad again. no surprise.

with age and injuries mounting to Yosh Sitton and Kyle Bong we may see former Bird Cameron Lee get a chance to play before this season ends. Bong is dealing with at least 17 different injuries right now and Sitton has been concussed and banged up and is 31. He's likely a cap casualty in the off season.

Ryan Pace might want to take a look at Cam in game action before the season ends to see what sort of promise he might have for 2018.

Kyle Long suffered a significant injury to his shoulder today. He's likely to be shut down.

Cam Lee is much closer to making his NFL debut.

Happy for Cam

He wouldn't be getting this chance if he wasn't working hard and didn't show some promise. Bears need everything (including O-Line depth) heading into 2018 so Cam is in a great position to show for this year and next year.

Who knows? Next year 2 of the 11 in the Bears offense could be Redbirds when the other Cam (Meredith) returns. :D
