It's going to be a long week for Drake. Do they belong in...YES!! Will they get in is anyone's guess. We better hope for very few upsets in the upcoming week. For the record, I would love to see two Valley teams in, but as we have seen before, getting snubbed is sort of a tradition here.

If Rutgers is getting consideration, neither Drake or Missouri State will.

According to Jerry (Face) Palm, all a P5 has to do is finish four above .500 overall and they are virtually guaranteed. A weak non-schedule would virtually guarantee that .

I don't see Drake getting in. If this game were played closer to the tourney and some other things shake out, maybe, but likely not now.

Joe Lunardi had loyola in twice over the weekend so we still get two

His updated one today has loyola as an 11 and Drake isn't even in the first four out or next four out which means they're going to the NIT. Doesn't seem they're going to even get seriously considered.

It’s a Shame Drake, MSU, and UNI couldn’t of had better non-conference results. Really think any of those teams could win a game or two in the tourney with right matchups. Maybe not current Drake team after injuries but with Wilkins they would’ve had a shot imo

1 NCAA bid for sure. No shot for Drake.

However, three MVC NIT teams is a real possibility. UNI- the worst resume of the 3 overall, has the auto bid and you could make an argument for Mo State and Drake.

Feels like Bradley will be in one of the pay-to-play tournaments (CBI) and SIU could be a name for the CIT.

The CIT is still wanting $30K to host a game and they are utilizing the old NIT format, in which they will reshuffle the brackets after each round. The CBI is going to be played down in Daytona Beach. I believe they are only going with 8 teams, but I could be wrong. Younger teams could benefit from playing in these tourneys but with the transfer portal wide open who knows who is going to stick around from day to day.

Really? I thought their non-con’s were very weak.

If UNI wins like two of their non-conf games that they could have, they are probably in mix for an at large. They really crapped the bed in non-conf.

I am guessing either Drake or Missouri St will not get in the NIT. UNI is an auto bid since they won the conference.
