We are not going to win this game on the ground. We have to be able to convert a few passes. If even just to loosen up the Bison.

It goes against the norm, but I'd like to see us pass on 2nd down here.

If dickens and Clark are still our offensive coordinators after this season, Brock will have lost my confidence

Our offense is bad. I don't care about the excuse of the elements....we've struggled all year on that side of the ball. It's a damn shame, too because we've wasted a really good defense and running backs duo.

I don't know if it's the OCs, the lack of a good QB, or what - but it's been a poor offensive season.

Really is a tail of two teams. Defense is so fun to watch while the offense is so painful to watch except for the running backs.

2 redbird mistakes 2 NDSU scores. without those it's still 0-0

Congrats

You guys have a tremendous program. Far and away superior to us.

The reality is this game was meaningless aside from the seniors playing their last game. Our season ended with the inexcusable blowout loss to a horseshit SIU team and our refusal to come out of the locker room after halftime against WIU.

Even if the Birds won this game by 40 we were likely staying home and deservedly so.

Starting to just think ISU athletes generally are mentally fragile. Never win big games. Often get blown out in big games. Often fall way behind and often later in games.

Need to recruit more leaders and not just track stars.

Not wanting to kick Kolbe while he's down, but he seems to have regressed.

Tough conditions though. Theirs QB is no better.

That said, really need to air it out here on every down ...nothing to lose. Go down swinging, dammit!

I’ve always thought you’re better off throwing in these conditions. The receivers know the routes and slippery conditions hardly favor the db’s, who have to be reactive and need solid footing to do so.

Of course you have to have an OC and coach with the stones to call the right plays. We have neither.

Still. He's nothing like the QB we saw vs. Richmond and vs. Iowa in mop-up duty. Even his first full year as a starter last year to this year.

Max protect, move the pocket/rollout. If it's there you go for it, if not you throw it away.

The question now...is Spack gonna use his time outs or die with bullets left the gun?
