Yep .. but SIU has a legit top 5 defense this year .. run (#5), pass (#5), total (#3), TFLs, TOs .. against the #12 SOS. Higher if you remove the teams who played in very weak conferences/SOSs ... e.g. pass defense would be #1 and easily ahead of legit #2 Villanova who played #41 SOS. Their other defense stat rankings don't exclude as many as below .. but anyway, SIU is very strong on defense and just pretty good offensively .. neither of which has been their recent norm.
Except now they have to go on road to Idaho, who is very strong offensively .. they pass very well, and run pretty well. So something will have to give.

UND was MVFCs only loss, and they played the toughest 1st round opponent of the other 7 by far ... Sacramento is roughly a top 15 team, when the rest were outside the top 25, most being well outside.

They got just 3 teams this year .. concensus is UCD got screwed.

correction, Big Sky got 4 teams ... still believe UCD was the most clearly screwed team.
Youngstown State was down 14-10 to Villanova in the 2nd quarter. They had the ball 4th and 2 on Villanova's 36 yard line. Do they go for it? No. Do they kick it? No. They decided to punt it. The punt went to the 3 yard line which was great. Villanova then took the ball and went 4 plays, 97 yards to take a 21-10 lead. Just brutal.
