Keyshawn is 5th in scoring in the conference, 8th in assists, 4th in 3pt %, 2nd in 3 pointers made, has the 5th best assist to TO ratio, and 12th in min played, and that's not good enough to even land on the third team? I hope this is bulletin board for Key.

It's honestly shocking that Keyshawn is not considered one of the top 15 players in the conference (Or top 6 guards even, I'm not sure how they do it). Especially with that shooting performance on Saturday fresh in everyone's minds. Judging by some of those ballots, it's obvious many of these writers only watch their teams play.

I was thinking this too but beat writers/coaches cannot vote for their own team. So you would think, if they haven't been watching, they would go reference the conference stat sheet where Key is top 5 in 4 categories. This might be the biggest snub of MVC All-whatever teams in recent history!

He needs to just go get the MVP of the tourney as payback. Here's hoping he leads the birds to a victory on Sunday.

If Milik would have had a good game against Loyola, the Birds would have won that game and they would have finished in second place. Nobody in the conference can match Milik’s stats. Going into the Loyola game I would have picked him as the Larry Bird winner. But not after the Loyola game.
Stats going into Loyola game:
17.5 PPG (tied with Barnes for 3rd)
7.1 RPG (5th)
4.9 APG (1st)

Exactly, here's to seeing Keyshawn really open some eyes down in St. Lou. The fact that Keyshawn is not considered one of the top 15 players in the Valley is absolutely ridiculous.

C'mon Birds....let's get some payback for the drubbing over in Terre Haute.

GO YOU REDBIRDS!! :greetings-clapyellow:

Evans might be the biggest complete All-Conference snub I've ever seen. Ever.

Keyshawn- come out hair on fire and burn St Louis to the ground this weekend. Make the voters feel like they need to write an apology and win the tourney MVP. I think you are one of probably 6 player in the league that can.

Imagine is Evans weren’t playing at 70% the entire conference season

To be fair, Evans wasnt as good during conference play as he was in non-conference play

13.2 PPG is pretty damn good, but I think he lost some points because his passing didn't really result in many assists. He was only having 3 assists a game in Valley play. Much of this, I think, is because MY kept drawing defenders into the paint and kicking to Evans.

Boy, if the same trend continues next year and Tinsley keeps up what he's been doing PLUS Copeland and Chastain being on the roster, the Birds might be damn near indefensible out there.

Donte Thomas is 2nd-team All-Valley and Keyshawn Evans isn't 3rd team?

No.

Keyshawn is better than Darrell Brown too.

Keyshawn is no doubt a better player than Darrel brown but in conference play browns stats were better from a ppg and assist standpoint which are 2 main stats for a PG.

if Evans doesn’t get hurt there is no question he is on the second team or at least honorable mention but unfortunately he did and played hurt most of conference season.

The bone bruise impacted performance in Valley play. Plus, he had a couple of Valley games where he played shorter minutes because of the knee. Thats enough to impact the scoring aveeage by a pt or two.

Key has been quite the surprise this year. Very impressed by the year he's had. (!!)

Key missed 2 games with the knee injury, and had 3 sub par games due to the knee injury. That torpedoed over a 1/4 on his conference slate. Plus the bone bruise.

I still think he's worthy of MVC recognition.

I love a player motivated by snub.

He'll have to take it off his wife's dresser
