i would donate, as well. $But, the tickets ISU have are all session tickets and they go for $150 by themselves. Then you have to consider lodging. Probably looking at $250 per student.

Can donate for the students to get student tickets... $10 a seat at Arch Madness with your student ID. Donors don't need to be paying for students to go all session when they will only go to the Redbird games. Its only lodging that students would need to get.

Another great 35 minute effort for the Birds. I love the rotation Muller has (been forced) to settle in on. He is keeping his 8 active guys fresh, with no one playing more than 33 minutes. I REALLY like the way Ike moves at the top of the zone. Traditionally, he had been one of the corner guys. Putting someone 6'5 there instead of 6'2 makes it that much harder on shooters. He still struggles in the man to an extent but I think our zone is just better than our man. The zone is really active and its rare other teams see wide open looks in it (for the last few games anyway).

Once concern I have is when Jefferson and Hein do come back. Yes it will be great to have both of them for the sake of depth, but that will alter the current sub patters. The eight that have been playing are doing a very good job feeding off each other and knowing each other's strengths and weaknesses. When Hein and Jefferson return one, or both, will kind of be shoved back into the role they were in previously. With Jefferson, he had played himself out of the lineup but I had heard he was improving in practice similarly the Tinsley situation. Then we all know Hein will likely return to being sixth man. Ike has proved value and I hope he still sees minutes once both return. On the other hand, it would be nice to be able to go 10 deep, but it might be unreasonable.

I want those guys back in St. Louis in case we get in foul trouble or get a lead and can rest players, but I have the same fear. This group of players are playing the best basketball of the season. The thing I like about this right now is the less players you play the easier it is to get in a rhythm. When you are subbing in and out non-stop it makes it hard on the players.

Pre-game party in the Redbird Room....I think that was suggested by someone on here. Great that they are doing it. They could at least give me some credit for it.

Yeah, I was talking about the student ticket for the ISU game and the bus ride down. Students are resourceful, they will figure out how to get 6 or 7 other's together and all chip in for a room. But you get them the free ride down and a reason to be there, they will go. Then they create an experience and carry that story or post it on facebook/instagram/twitter/snapchat/what ever is the new thing. Then someone back in Normal says, I missed out, I'm going to do that next year, or even I'm going to do that Saturday because we won.
