Ragging by your definition, not mine.jwa123 said:ISU FAN 1 said:So it’s ragging to ask that a point guard have better than a 1.2 assist to turnover ratio? I’ll stand by that criticism. We did need a better point guard than the freshman PLee, and he turned into one.jwa123 said:It’s on the old board. I remember you ragging on Paris more than once and spouting off about how ISU needs a real point guard.
Don’t reply to this with feigned denial. You did do this dude.
So now you admit to evidence of ragging even though your implication was that you are pure of such a thing.
You are a piece of work. A negative one at that.

I believe you are the one touting what you've said are facts and reality. And what in the hell does Andy Strandmark have to do with this discussion? I think that's a step further into what I perceive to be a sketchy view of reality.
You just respond with insults, not "facts".
I didn't call them facts.
So ****ing fed up with the ****ing language in this ****ing thread. Clean up the ****ing profanity right ****ing now.Joe_Y said:Reggie Redbird said:The Beak said:I'm on record as saying the David/Hein 2-fer was worth a shot. It's a gamble, you're gonna miss sometimes. Who knows what David would have brought even this year had he been healthy last year and this? Not to mention next year.
By the same token, Yarbrough was worth a gamble, but if you talked to SLU fans 2 years ago, they would have said "good luck fellas." They knew his potential, and his immaturity. A number of fans on their message board admitted that if Muller could "get to him," he would be a helluva get. But they were far from confident that would happen, and suggested he could easily be a Redbird cancer.
So bully for Muller for gambling in both cases. And bully for coaching Yarbrough into the player SLU would have dearly loved to have, but couldn't get through to him.
Isn't the difference MY had proven D1 success on the court, with a 1 scholarship investment, versus an unproven Ndiaye where we will have invested (likely) 8 scholarship years for 3 years of Ndiaye and 4 years of Hein on the court. Think about that investment versus the results. I would say that is a very big investment for a very big risk that has led to a negative ROI.
If MY didn't work out and stays for the rest, we'd have one scholarship tied up. With Ndiaye leaving, we are still, at this point, giving two years to Hein.
So ****ing fed up with this, Hein showed up and played his ass off and yall still bash him. He's on the team, get over it, if you can't support your own teams' players don't wonder why other recruits won't take a chance to come here.
We’re loaded at the solid bench player position.SgtHulka said:He already proved himself a solid bench player this last season.
