In high school, Penny would come and play in pick-up games while Dan was at Vandy. Penny felt like Muller was Larry Bird and couldn't miss a shot. Penny says Muller won a lot more of those games than he did. They stayed in touch. This is not the first time Penny was contacted for an ISU assistant job with Muller. This time it just worked out.

What was his salary at Texas?
What will his salary at Tulsa be?
What would his salary offer have been at Illinois State?

I also was hoping Dan would have been in contact with David. Would be interesting to know if he did, and if so, what was the reason for him choosing Tulsa.
