Fisher missed about 10 layups, Copeland missed a free throw, Fisher missed the front end of a 1 and 1. Maybe Dan should just play for them and shoot and pass for the team since they had 13 turnovers the 2nd half.

It absolutely is his fault. That's the deal when you're the head coach making 600k a year. The buck stops with him. He picked the players he wanted on his team and he coaches them everyday in practice. Either he's not good at evaluating talent or he can't coach them in a way to help them improve their game. Either way it ultimately goes back to him.

He's not going anywhere for a while so hopefully things get better. They can't get a whole lot worse.

4 of their home losses have come in the last minute. No confidence to hang on to a lead. U would think by now they would play like they have nothing to lose. Have never seen a team shoot so poorly in the paint as opposed to 3 pointers. Think they had 7 straight trips w/o a score.

What’s more discouraging is that I’m not seeing anything, except maybe Horne, that gives me any hope this mess will be any better next season.
I mean there are no signs at all of growth here. It’s complete stagnation.

Then if I am Dan, Rey doesn’t see the court again. Gotta start somewhere. You give 100% for 40 minutes, or you don’t play on my team. But than you will complain because he’s not playing Rey.

This has got to be the worst or second worst team (maybe the year after Osiris) since I’ve been watching. And in regards to everyone being thrilled with the turnover from last years team after 1 game, and being happy to finally see “team basketball”, I’ll take selfish stars over bad players who play as a team any day. At least when you have there best player on the court there is always hope for winning

If Dan couldn’t win with 2 MVC All Conference (Fayne and Yarborough) he isn’t getting the job done.

Let’s not forget how upset most were where the Valley added those pathetic underachieving Valparaiso and Loyola programs; two programs that have consistently beat us like a drum since they began MVC play.
We are now the dregs of the MVC.
Sadly, there really is nothing on the horizon (other than the usual unproven recruits) that makes me think it will be any different for years to come.
