We could (hypothetically) play and beat Gonzaga and you would complain about how bad Gonzaga has become. Players who come here must suck, because they came here. Coaches who come here must suck, because they came here. You’re an effing depressing group.

Lol the difference is gonzaga is actually good. We're literally like what 225, worse? No idea but I'm sure we're closer to chicago state than loyola in the NET

I don't think loyola beating illinois is the same as isu defeating wilmington.

Nov 23 vs SLU @ Cancun
Nov 24 vs SFA/Buffalo @ Cancun
Dec 18 vs Ball State
 
Hosting Murray State from last year's H/H.
 
Damn I wish we just go for it and play Duke, Indiana, Michigan State and Iowa State - sure all on the road but F it - why not make some dough and
play in front of large crowds again

Chicago state ranks as one of the bottom teams in d1 hoops every season, is Wilmington that bad, no however they are in the bottom 100 as has been stated. It’s not a quality game. Not many on the schedule at this point.

Also, please remember Chicago State had isu beat and took the birds OT to secure the win.

So . . . then why are folks bitching about playing a team that is probably better than us (which was implied in my post)? Aren't we in the bottom 100? Do you really want ISU to lose that much and that badly? That's what it seems like. Rack up the Ls, baby.

Sadly if you review Kenpom like an educated poster, you’d see isu finished 198 last season, far ahead of Wilmington and not in the bottom 100 (but close) Shocking, I know.

A huge mistake would be for muller to turn this into a Janko non conf schedule. The fan base is not pleased and will not turn out to watch this crap. With janko the fan base was still somewhat engaged because he revitalized the program and won a good amount of games. Muller playing a bunch of cupcakes will drive fans even farther away from RBA

Damn. Brennan needs to hire you. You're the epitome of marketing and coaching savvy. I believe they have at least one opening in the athletic department. You should check it out.

We have played Wilmington 3 times and they were all under the Jank regime. We played and lost to them at home his last year.

Wilmington very well could be a 200+ team but playing a team from the Colonial is still better than opening up against a D2, SWAC, or 300+ team. Personally I am glad we are opening up at home versus heading on the road for the opener where we tend to lose even with stronger teams.

We will see where the rest of the schedule lands but I am not anticipating playing a loaded schedule given our record the past two years.
This is a team that is going to have to win games early to build some confidence.
