I don't have much to add, I don't spend a lot of time on the post-game griping because it just makes me think of all the bad stuff.

But again I say, in a "positive" vein, we have a lot of young guys so by the time they're juniors and seniors they'll be better. Of course, they'd have to stay here all 4 years for that to work out. And UNI sent a bunch of small town Iowa and Minnesota freshman and sophs out there tonight and they seemed to do just fine. Go figger.

Also, one of the many lessons either not learned or not taught - VALUE THE BALL. One of the biggest sins of our team. Just piss it away. Don't fight for the 50-50 balls. We need a hoop - ahh, give it to me, I can throw one in. Push it, push it. Sad.

Better? Only because it literally cannot get any worse.
For crying out loud, Washington and Fleming (our supposed saviors) had a combined 2 points....in almost 60 minutes of court time!! Think about that for a second...
Sorry to say, this team has zero future.

Yep, went on a rant about how more family leads to poor play. Just when you think you’ve heard it all Dan comes up with a new excuse.
If he truly said that, then I have lost what little respect I had left for him. He needs to be shown the door...tonight!
Pathetic.

Oh boy that is bad. You lost end of story not because of families in the stands. I will say that is a creative new excuse. Congratulations on that!!

I won't listen to dan's post game crap, but really?!? He blamed the parents for the team's poor play?!?!? Incredible. Allow me to go out on a limb here and say I'd be more prone to blame the head coach for poor play. The players deserve better. The university deserves better. The fan base deserves better. #candan. #firemullernow.

Rico is being a little intepretive/loose with what Dan said. He mentioned, that for the first time this season, there was family in the stands. He specifically said he was not blaming parents and that he wanted them there, but that the overall focus as a group was different.

He also mentioned he has seen this on past senior days, as teams come out play different (both over and under performing) than in other games during that season.

Drake or Loyola could have been in the house last night with the same storyline and an upset was pulled ~ Dan could have probably made the same observation.

But they weren't and we didn't.

The only thing he should have said on the subject, is I am grateful anyone still follows or supports the program after I destroyed it. Different interpretations, but when you are even bringing it up, it’s pretty sad.

The reason we lost the game is because UNI has tougher, better coached players, and scouted us. Not because 50 people showed up. He whined and cried about it for a full minute.

And, while he was at it, maybe give a tip of his cap to Crazzy, GoBirds, Jammin, Rico, TBS, Trey, etc.

A fitting goodbye for Dan. Blow a double digit second half lead. Get schooled on the final play of regulation. Blow a 5 point lead in OT. Then get blown out.

Hopefully, only one more game in this failed era.

I’m at the stage where even if every player left then I’m still okay with Muller being let go
I agree, I like the players we have, but no confidence Muller can get them to win.

At some point you have to change the direction. Some players will leave and the new coach will bring in players to fill in. If Drake can win an MVC title in one recruiting class, I don’t see how a new competent coach can’t do something similar at ISU. We have the best job in the league.
