Now I'm even more amazed. Kicked out for a first name. All the games I've been to can't recall ever seeing that. I mean, we should know better. "Mr. Higgins." Mr. Pollard." So sorry fellas. Bet we'd stil get run for using those terms though.

Recon, what did Gerry toss you for back in "The Robe" days?

As for Bird Hat going after Gerry: Loyola only had five fouls called on them in the entire final. I'd say "Damn it, Bobby" but our entire fan base booing the Friday crew at halftime probably didn't help. Higgins and Gerry already appear to dislike Redbird Nation.

Speaking of...how many of our Arch Madness finals have those two been a part of? Tyler Brown's hanging T and Tuttle's battering ram tactics to draw whistles three years later stand out as especially egregious, along with the gaping foul disparity this year.

The bird hat individual is a friend of mine and imo he did nothing that anyone else thought, he just went down to tell them to their face. If telling an official he sucked at his job then I am pretty sure a lot more redbird fans could have been tossed on Friday night, especially after the parade of boos they heard.

I always thought telling someone something to their face was actually telling someone something to their face. You know, like the 2 of you face to face. Not running down an isle yelling something to someone who can't respond. Seems cowardly. Am I wrong?

I should mention I plan to retire my Justin Clark and Trey Blue jerseys. When wearing them, ISU is 0-6 in MVC championship games.

He got kicked out because he called the ref by his first name after halftime. He didn’t swear or cuss at the refs that I know of. What’s funny is there is always people yelling “pollard your terrible” or something like that. But they chose to eject this guy because he used the ref’s first name and the ref actually made eye contact with him.

I don't want the guy dying of liver failure although he might, he obviously has personal and parenting issues with disastrous potential consequences which will be completely on HIM (my heart truly goes out to the kid...AWFUL what happened) and he probably could use a good tar and feather flogging led by Hulka...all that garbage went on...

The most surprising thing to me is that security knew Pollard's first name.

I sure hope either Pollard's first name isn’t “F&$@ing” or that security isn’t sitting by me when I talk about him at a game because I (and many around me based on what I heard) will be kicked out for calling Pollard by his first name too...

I think the stories are getting mixed together again...There were two separate people.

Black shirt was the belligerent drunk who never got booted, though he should have.

A separate fan in the Reggie hat got kicked out for yelling at the refs along with 800 other Redbird fans. He just went down to the tunnel to do it.
