He looked like the middle Hanson brother twin that usually photo'd in the middle, from Slap Shot w shorter hair, the boy next to him was slumping and trying to hide in his seat, sad.

I'll get this to ISU Athletics pronto so they can attempt to identify this fan.

Hope his liver kills him soon and then the world will be a better place.

Speaking of taking it too far...

Sorry, but if you are entrusted with the welfare of a child and choose to get smashed while you are caring for that child you are less than worthless to me. I could give a flying F is anyone thinks that opinion is taking it too far, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Would you take a kid out to a game get drunk? What if he got in a car after and drove that child back to Normal or where ever after the game in that shape? F him. If ISU knows who he is they should call DCFS on his ass.

Some people yelled at the refs (i didn't hear anything in particular other the the rain of boos) at the end of the half above the tunnel. Security descended and started looking for him/them. When the refs came back out he ran down, yelled at them (actually nothing worth getting kicked out over I thought at that time) and spilled his 2 beers all over the couple sitting next to us, then went back to his seat.

I was just going to say he needs to get help. I don't think he needs to die of liver failure, but I know where you are coming from. Hopefully he was not this kid's ride/sole chaperone the whole weekend.

Anyone going to claim this embarrassing fan? Thursday night he was hammered drunk trying to get an ISU chant going with the 100 people in the stands.

Today, he screamed out two ridiculous comments when Richardson was down, bleeding on the court. A security guard and several ISU fans told him to STFU. He was quiet the rest of the game, from what I could tell. It was BAD though. Real bad.

He was sitting a few rows ahead of us...hope he doesn't show up next year.

I've never seen him there before, so hopefully we won't again.

He got kicked out because he called the ref by his first name after halftime. He didn’t swear or cuss at the refs that I know of. What’s funny is there is always people yelling “pollard your terrible” or something like that. But they chose to eject this guy because he used the ref’s first name and the ref actually made eye contact with him.

I don't want the guy dying of liver failure although he might, he obviously has personal and parenting issues with disastrous potential consequences which will be completely on HIM (my heart truly goes out to the kid...AWFUL what happened) and he probably could use a good tar and feather flogging led by Hulka...all that garbage went on...

...but then he got kicked out for using a ref's first name??

Huh????

Here's my question, too. And maybe some of you did. But if some of you saw it and were sitting close, why wasn't the guy confronted by someone in the crowd. Like, seriously confronted??

Let's make a deal, right here, right now. If someone sitting close enough to us, for us to hear it, acting like this guy acted (which apparently was WAY out of bounds)...WE ARE GOING TO MAN UP AND CONFRONT IT.

Deal?

The most surprising thing to me is that security knew Pollard's first name.

Humdinger, your confusing 2 different guys here.

The guy who got kicked out yelled at one of the refs and was told by Scottrade security that he was getting kicked out because he addressed the ref personally. Had he said “ref your horrible” he wouldn’t be kicked out. It didn’t help that he moved down to the first row to say what he did.

Why? Pollard was a cop in the suburbs of St. Louis for a few decades.

Joke . . . and security guards usually aren't cops . . . and the suburbs aren't downtown St. Louis . . . and joke . . .

Got it. My apologies, appreciate the heads up.

Still want to confront liver man.

Now I'm even more amazed. Kicked out for a first name. All the games I've been to can't recall ever seeing that. I mean, we should know better. "Mr. Higgins." Mr. Pollard." So sorry fellas. Bet we'd stil get run for using those terms though.
