The most surprising thing to me is that security knew Pollard's first name.

Why? Pollard was a cop in the suburbs of St. Louis for a few decades.

Joke . . . and security guards usually aren't cops . . . and the suburbs aren't downtown St. Louis . . . and joke . . .

A lot of security guys are cops. Especially at a pro venue like the Scottrade Center.

As for Bird Hat going after Gerry: Loyola only had five fouls called on them in the entire final. I'd say "Damn it, Bobby" but our entire fan base booing the Friday crew at halftime probably didn't help. Higgins and Gerry already appear to dislike Redbird Nation.

Speaking of...how many of our Arch Madness finals have those two been a part of? Tyler Brown's hanging T and Tuttle's battering ram tactics to draw whistles three years later stand out as especially egregious, along with the gaping foul disparity this year.

The bird hat individual is a friend of mine and imo he did nothing that anyone else thought, he just went down to tell them to their face. If telling an official he sucked at his job then I am pretty sure a lot more redbird fans could have been tossed on Friday night, especially after the parade of boos they heard.

Either Friday or Saturday he was with a woman and appeared to be a little more calm. Then Sunday he was obviously GONE with booze, and with the kid there. I honestly left before Custer got hurt (Didn't feel like watch the opposing team storm the court for the 6th time in 10 years) and didn't hear those exchanges. I would have been cheering for security to get him out of there.

Sorry, but if you are entrusted with the welfare of a child and choose to get smashed while you are caring for that child you are less than worthless to me. I could give a flying F is anyone thinks that opinion is taking it too far, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Would you take a kid out to a game get drunk? What if he got in a car after and drove that child back to Normal or where ever after the game in that shape? F him. If ISU knows who he is they should call DCFS on his ass.

I'd be surprised if nobody within ISU Athletics knows who he is. I've seen him at numerous home football and basketball games.

Ha! A good meeting for sure. I appreciate die hard fans - I wanted to ask where the jerseys come from. My sister in law wants to buy one.
