You guys are clowns. ISU is one of the top places in the Valley when you factor in facilities and location. It can also offer immediate playing time. Not many P5s can do that if they are recruiting against mid majors.

Facilities - redbird arena is getting kind of old... and it’s half empty most games

Location - unfortunately Bloomington normal is not really that sexy of a place to go plAy. Unless you like the corn fields.

Immediate playing time - I’m quite certain most coaches will sell this even if that may not be realistic. No coach is going to say: hey come here and ride the pine!!

Howard Fleming is the real deal as long as he can stay healthy. Fleming, Horne, and Reeves will make a damn good backcourt. Andrews had good offers. Washington looks like he may be solid. Josiah Strong put up big numbers at his Juco stop. The Russian I’m not so sure about, but we have 2 more scholarships to play with.

This team will be better. Is it enough to save Mullers job yet? I have no idea.

I doubt Fleming, Horne, and Reeves are good enough to finish in the top half of the MVC next year.

You haven’t seen these freshman play a single minute of college basketball. Might want to reel it in a bit. Fisher was going to be the savior from everything I heard last off season...

I know we've got a visit planned with a player who has P5 offers.

What spring recruiting will actually look like is a whole different story.

So tell us who? Why should this be some big secret?

Also If he truly has P5 offers, meaning multiple, I think you’re completely drunk if you realistically expect him to come to the 230th ranked team in college basketball last year

:eek:bscene-drinkingbuddies:

So this guy will go unnamed. Too bad! Guess that’s means when it doesn’t happen you don’t have to actually own up to it!

Horne is ok, but he’s not Bryson. Unless our next two recruits are unbelievable we don’t have an all MVC player again.

Hypothetically, if you add a guard the caliber of junior Daishon Knight and a big the caliber of sophomore Phil Fayne, where would you put the team?

9-9 in the valley?

Horne is going to drop 40 against power 5 schools I’m sure

I’m sure. Horne clearly has the ability of Bryson. I mean I see him lighting up Miami and Purdue.

He never did and it was moronic by the poster that brought it up. Glad to see we are completely writing off someone on the all freshman team and got better as the year went on though.

Too bad. Good size. But could never use it. Probably best for both sides.

Our transfers almost always improve wherever they land. It’s a shame, another year and another roster rebuild. Good luck Rey, appreciate you.

They do? Like off from the trajectory they showed here?
Upshaw, Ekey, Zeisloft, Blue, Lynch, Tree, Griffin off the top of my head. And there are others. Not all are stars or even starters but certainly contributors. Developing players is just one part of the negative equation. Ones that left and didn’t do much more shouldn’t have been recruited here in the first place. That group is a very long list. Ndiaye, Hein, Clarence, Clayton, Washington, Harvey, Hall, etc.

See his twitter.

He’s clearly making fun of the post. If some of you hold ISU degrees quit devaluing our education. Holy shit.

Horne is good. He’s not great. I’m betting he has worse numbers next year when he has the best defender on him.

Either way this program is a disaster.

From people like you? You are the worst kind of fan. Just a keyboard jockey who had never played college sports.
