For those asking, I am pretty sure Alex Kotov replaced Bruniga and not Rey.

We have an offer to a 6'10 Sanders that had 34 blocks in 3 games. I think he is still available ... and word on him?

Rico and Jamar need some cheese with that whine o my.

So let me get this he worked Matt and Taylor too hard but didn't work Rey hard enough to get better. Got it.

From people like you? You are the worst kind of fan. Just a keyboard jockey who had never played college sports.

Actually, fans like you that just come because your are bored at home and don’t care if they win or lose...sit and look at your phone or wonder who you might know are the worst! I take a passionate fan...over the one that could care less anyday!

And recon look up Bryson and Horne’s stats. Some facts might help you.

I missed the post. When did recon say Horne was the next Bryson?

What’s funny is you ask about the post! He clearly shows the evidence, you then pivot and distract!

Goodness go to bed and wake up to a CF.!🤪. You can say all you want about Dan not developing Rey BUT the fact is he’s a bit slow. At 6.9 240 you don’t have to be taught much to get more than a couple of rebounds a game. Rebounding is mostly position AND DESIRE! Rey lacked something there. I wish him the best cause he seemed like a nice kid.

We have some seemingly good recruits coming in. We have three pretty solid returnees. Do we have a Bryson? Probably not but Bryson was a unique talent. If we can use one of our last two scholarships for a legit center then we will improve. Back to your regular programming!

I can be passionate and positive. I don't look at my phone at the games and I travel over an hour to go to them so stop. You don't know me one bit.

What's funny is he never showed it!!! He mentions his Twitter. This isn't Twitter! I wanted to see the post on here. God knows I don't want you sniffing through my social media and bringing it on here.

If he says that I’m better than Bryson on his Twitter...that’s what he believes. I have no problem with Recon believing a player is great. But, that’s clearly evidence. I haven’t went to recons twitter to see what he post...I don’t really care. I do respect Recon and his opinion.

Perhaps Reys problem is there’s not a coach on the staff who can help him? I assume Jones coaches the bigs? At least he is the only guy in staff to ever play the position. I looked up Jones college numbers and he was ineffective to say the least. Maybe muller shouldn’t overload his staff with guys like Brian Reese who I honestly have no clue what the guy does? He looks asleep most of the games when I watch him. That is why adding belcher made little sense to me. He has no proven recruiting success on his resume plus he’s another guard. Plus it’s pretty baffling that he would come to ISU from Indy state when Lansing is on the hot seat. Leads me to believe that Lansing saw belcher as dead weight and was holding the program back. If Lansing really thought highly of him, there’s no way he’s letting him leave for a conference opponent. But, I’m sure the kool aid crew will tell me how big of a step up ISU is over Indiana state without looking at the standings.

Recon never said that. He’s making fun of the post and absurdity of the comparison.

Per Verbal Committs, we also have outstanding offers out to

Mo Njie, 6'8 217 PF .. he has 7 (per article) offers including Dayton, VCU, Xavier Providence. I think he may be VCU bound based on a tweet

Jeremiah Oden 6'8 (SF) from Chicago Sunrise Christian Academy who has 22 offers
Jabari Walker (SF) 6'8 from California 12 offers including Tulsa and St Mary's
AJ Stanton-McCray (SG) from NC 9 offers including SIU, DePaul and Buffalo

Are you legitimately mentally challenged? Belcher is highly regarded as one of the best recruiting assistants in the MVC. He is the reason Indy State had any talent. He was the lead recruiter.

They’ve had such great talent you’re right! How many NBA draft picks? How many NCAA bids? His resume is just glistening with accolades

How many draft picks have come from the MVC in the last decade especially when you remove Wichita State? That’s a stupid ****ing barometer of success at this level.

Recon never said that Horne was as good or better than Bryson on twitter, he made a tweet trolling the whole conversation. Rico spun it into this whole big thing.

Lol clearly you’re upset because you have nothing to support your claim that Belcher is a recruiting god.

Here’s some facts.
The year before Belcher arrived in terre haute, they went to the big dance. The next season, playing Thursday in St. Louis, haven’t sniffed the ncaa tournament since.

The year before Belcher arrived in Normal, they still managed a winning season (albeit they still weren’t good), the year after they win what 9 games?

Interesting correlations!!

Have a hard time thinking he was pumping in such elite talent to Indiana State when they were pretty much a bottom half MVC team his entire time there except two years.

EDITED to add: Indiana State finished third this year, interestingly enough, the first year after Belcher departed

You realize this Indy St roster was largely his guys right?

Yep, the same guys that also got absolutely embarrassed by a bad MOST team in STL. Any way you look at it, the guy has absolutely nothing to support your insane claims that he’s this recruiting star. NOTHING. Sit down and be quiet and let the adults talk now.

No matter what the reasons they left, it is another year with complete roster turnover. It's year 9 and we lose 50% of our scoring and our roster for various reasons (graduation, transfer, injuries). So now we have to rely on Fisher, two freshman, and a bunch of incoming recruits to win.

When does the roller coaster stop and the program get some stability?
